STRENGTHS

• Durable: Primarily acting as a walking stick the Staff assists Teth in moving, supporting his weight and posture however due to its alchemized nature the already hard veshok wood has been further hardened to the point that it is resistant to strikes from weaponry up to and including a lightsaber. On occasions where it might be used as a weapon the hardened nature of the wood ensures that it can deliver hard blows not unlike any other staff.
• Unassuming: It's a Staff not a sword, axe, knife, vibroblade, lightsaber, blaster, etc. Looking at it, especially in the hands of someone who appears venerable and most people don't assume it has any sort of special properties.
• A Foci for the Force: The Staff, imbued with alchemical properties is also invested with force energies that make it a powerful foci. It can assist in multitasking, maintaining an ongoing ability while Teth evokes another. Its energy can also enhance the powers of whoever is attuned to it making manipulation of the force less draining or cumbersome.
• Summoned to the Hand: Invested with the powers of the force the Staff can be called to the hand of anyone attuned to it. A Telekinetic force will literally cause it to fly to the hand of its wielder within a moderate distance, ripping itself from the grasp of others as it is called.

WEAKNESSES

• Attunement: A Wielder must attune themselves to the Staff to receive its full benefits. This generally occurs by having the staff in their possession for twenty-four hours. In the hands of an unattuned individual the Staff functions with its alchemized properties but none of the those associated with it being a foci for the force.
• A Beacon of the Force: Due to it acting as a foci the Staff is easy for those who are trained in the force (Jedi, Sith, etc) to sense. Anyone with the Staff will be unable to conceal themselves due to its presence.
• Force Death: Null zones or areas where the force is dead cause the Staff to lose all of its properties as a foci. In areas like these it merely acts as the alchemized version of itself.

DESCRIPTION
Just a Staff. Originally a branch from a Veshok Tree that had been broken off. Teth alchemized it, imbued it with a portion of the force and his essence so that he was attuned with it and made it a powerful foci for his abilities. As the Darkside Cleric is primarily an elementalist the Staff is often seen bolstering those abilities however it functions as a foci of the force regardless of the application. It does not inherently radiate with the corruption of the darkside meaning that anyone who was able to attune to it could use it without fear of corruption, one possible explanation for this being that the Cleric's focus isn't inherently aligned with the darkside regardless of its application.

It measures approximately 2.1 meters in length, the wood is rough, gnarled and twisted together on the end where it forms a head. It fits easily into the hand of any regular humanoid though it may be a bit thick for the palm of smaller creatures. Due to its alchemized nature it is heavier than usual though this is negligible.
