A First Date, in more than one way.

Silence. She might just have ruined her second date ever. She was not off to a good start with this whole relationship thing. When were they going to stop for the picnic? The sun was already starting to go down.

"Um... what are your plans? For the future, I mean."

Her grip on his arm was loose. Honestly, she was more interested in his plans for this date. What did he expect from it? What did he expect from her?

"I dont know, i never actually make grand plans and take the days as they are. Its no fun to plan everything out because when things do not go your way you find that you start to hate your own plans and life. But if i had to make one, this kind of existence would be a rather good thing, working in a palace and surrounded by people that are very happy. Plus i think that you are a good person to be around. Were almost there by the way." He was noticing the sun too, not sure if he would get to the spot before the light went down, up until he now saw it. A small clearing by the woods with the river flowing by. "Right there."

Right there? Good. She sighed let go of him and ran ahead. It was a beautiful spot. Owain would never have bothered to bring hr somewhere so nice. She had a feeling that he wasn't exactly after romance when it came to her.
But Glyph? He seemed to feel the opposite. He hadn't touched her in any inappropriate way. He spoke to her, smiled at her.

But he didn't really challenge her. It was just a matter of what she wanted more. Romance, or fun?

"Hurry it up, slowpoke. I'm not going to wait forever."

She was just going to see if she could push his buttons. Maybe she could do something to... stimulate him?

"Oh well im sorry, ill try and hurry up." He instead slowed down his steps, to a crawling pace as he smiled wide. Watching her all the while and waiting for her to either hit him or say something about how he slowed down. His hand attempted to lace its fingers into hers if allowed or not.

Felicity waited, looking impatient. He was trying to tease her. He was going to have to do better. When he approached, she smiled at last, letting him take her hand. She didn't punch him. She was tempted, but she didn't.

"This is beautiful," she commented, leaning over to rest her head on his shoulders, "Do you come here a lot?"

"I like to come out and watch the stars, imagine flying through them and seeing every world in the galaxy... and now that i have seen quite a few, im more than happy to simply sit under the stars, listen to the music of the wind, and play my violin when i have it with me... You know, i should have brought that, do you like music?" He moved to sit down with her and sat the container with the food infront of them, inside simple sandwiches, nothing special about them but a cut of meat with various plants packaged separately to put on the sandwiches. "Sorry, didn't know what you liked, so i went with something simple."

"Music? I suppose so."

The truth was, she'd hardly given it much thought. Mom loved music. She'd tried to push her girls into loving it too. It had worked on Celeste, but like most thing, Felicity was indifferent.

"Oh, that's alright," she said sitting down with him, "It looks delicious."

He smiled and glanced at her, looking at her for a few long seconds before shaking his head. "So uh ya... this is it..." He glances around, suddenly realizing he has no idea what to do or say. So much for the best laid plans or something like that.

The blond pushed a stray lock of hair behind her torn ear. This silence was deafening. Well, the was a picnic, and her stomach wasn't going to get any fuller by just sitting there. She reached over, helping herself to one of the sandwiches.

"So.... do you... like it here on Naboo?"

What a stupid question. Everything always came back to Naboo with her. Everything. But she only ever really knew Imerria and Naboo as home.

"Yes, its beautiful and there is very few places likes it, the people are also all so... different. To the point where every day is like an adventure on the planet when i get to see gungans especially." He ate from his own sandwich, looking up at the stars while he did, thinking to himself about something as his eyes went a bit distant before he spoke again. "Well, this is what i wanted to show you." Above them it would look like a painting as the clouds parted and the stars came out in a beautiful swath of color.

The sun was gone. She hadn't even noticed that, sitting under the trees in this silence. But by the time she had finished her sandwich, her boyfriend was pointing up at the sky. What Felicity saw was quite unlike anything she'd seen before.

Nights on Imerria were typically filled with clouds and winds so strong that you could really see nothing much at all in the sky. And on Naboo, well, there was Theed which was a city, and lake country where she went to sleep every night exhausted from the days activities, too tired to bother with stars.

But here? This was within walking distance. This was their own private paradise. They were alone, with only the stars above watching over them. Or at least, that was how it seemed. She lay back on the ground, staring wordlessly up at the colorful ceiling of glittering worlds and distant galaxies.

"Beautiful, isn't it." He laid down beside her and smiled as he looked up at the sky. "We are far enough from the city that you don't have to worry about the lights interfering with the view, otherwise you would not be able to see this..." He smiled and turned his head, only realizing now he had laid shoulder to shoulder with her and blinked at how close he was, knowing if she turned her head, there would be only a sliver of space between them.

And turn her head she did. They were close. She could almost feel his breath on her flesh. A smile found her lips. She reached across to lace her fingers with his.

"I'm glad you brought me here. Thank you. Now, let me show you something too..."

She rolled onto her side, her free hand coming up to cup his cheek as she slowly went to close the distance between their lips.

He blinked, at first confused as she said that until she turned her body and came closer, for a moment he froze as she kissed him, blinking as he didn't know if he should do anything or just let it happen. In the end he returned it, staring at her eyes and smiling behind the kiss as he then looked at the ground a bit red. "Uh... that was... different...."

Different, he said. That was 'different'. When they at last parted from the kiss, felicity was left to hear his judgement on the moment.
And he said "different".

Felicity didn't pull away. Not yet. Her eyes narrowed.
She went to kiss him again, hoping that the reaction was just a fluke

Ok so the first time was a bit of a shock to him, her doing it again just made him smile like a mad man. "Ok ok, it was Great." He still wasn't sure what the right reaction was... though he instead of kissing her back leaned forward and kissed her nose instead, grinning. So he didn't know how to react, he had never had to be close to people and secluded himself, hell it was amazing he hadn't simply frozen up from the first kiss, but the second was a good enough warning if any... or maybe he was thinking to far into this and she had simply continued because thats what they were suppose to do... which means his action just a moment ago was wrong, oh how he was getting a headache now.

This wasn't at all like the time she'd kissed Owain. He didn't grab her and hold her tight. There was no passion behind any of it. There was no longing.
It was just two teenagers under the stars sharing an awkward first kiss. And it wasn't bad. She actually sort of enjoyed it. When he kissed her nose, she made a face before going to touch those lips again. But this time, she moved closer until her body was pressed right up against his. They were still laying on the ground. Felicity had the urge to roll over on top of him, and urge that she suppressed. He was barely comfortable kissing her as it was.

Now he was just confused, she was kissing him again, was he suppose to do something that he kept missing. Maybe he was suppose to stroke her hair back while they kissed? Or close his eyes as they were still staring at her face. Maybe he was suppose to grab at her... lower half like he saw others do, but that just seemed too far to him for one date... then again this many kisses confused him for a first date. In the end he reached up, brushed her hair back with one hand, the other roping around her waist and holding her tight as he kissed her back a bit more. Closing his eyes incase he was suppose to do that.

Ah. Now he seemed to get it. He was returning the kiss. At last, he seemed to be enjoying it. She held him close, pushing her body as tightly against him as she could. Still, there wasn't that... rush that she felt before. Maybe she just wasn't kissing him right? Or maybe he wasn't kissing her right? She did not pull away. She clung to him like her life depended on it.

[member="Glyph"]

He blinked and pulled away from the kiss, though he didn't let go of her. "Uh... not that i don't like this but... i think that us laying here isn't exactly a date. Or uh, is it, im kind of confused by this whole thing to tell the truth and i don't quite no what to do next..." He looked at the ground, still a bit embarrassed in the first place that they had just started kissing for no reason other than this was a date. But he had thought people talked on dates, got to know eachother, instead he had made her mad and now are kissing... boy he was confused.
