A First Date, in more than one way.

Oh. Felicity lowered her eyes, pulling away slightly.

"Well.... what did you want to do instead? "

If he thought he was confused, he could not begin to understand what was going on in her mind just then.

"Well i don't know, that was just the first time i did that, i just didn't know if thats what people did on first dates... if it is i liked it." He smiled, trying to salvage what he could, and not make it sound like he hated doing that. In truth he would be more than happy to continue, he just didn't know how to continue in the way that she expected him too. "I just uh... what exactly is it im suppose to do, i've never done this before..."

Felicity could only blink in reply. So, he was just as new to this as her.

"I... suppose we hold hands now?"

It was a safe suggestion in any case.

"Oh, got it." He reached out from behind her waist slowly, just incase she wanted him to stop and keep his arm around her instead. If so then his hand on her cheek would drop and grab her hand instead. "So, this was a great night by the way Felicity... as confusing as trying to kiss you right was... sorry, i never had to do that before, so i didn't know how to do it right."

This was a great night, he said, sorry I don't know how to kiss.

Felicity would have normally rolled her eyes at this, but instead, she smiled, squeezing his hand.

"I suppose this is the end of our date then? Going to walk me home now?"

"Sure, it doesn't have to end if you don't want it too... we could talk about eachother." He smiled and started to sit up, pulling her up if she wanted to get up, or letting her continue to lay down while he sat if she wanted. He didn't really care, he held her hand in either instance so it didn't matter to him.

She sat up with him, then stood up. Her gaze never left the stars above.

"We should go back. Mother worries when I'm out after dark."

She didn't was security looking for them.

"You've met my Father. Have you ever met my mother?"

"No i haven't, i would be glad to though, if you want me to." He smiled and looked down at her hand, making sure his fingers were laced into hers and smiling at her as he did. Without warning he leaned over and kissed her nose again, speaking. "I dont think ill get sick of that, if you dont mind that is Fel?"

If he thought her father was scary, then her mother was going to be a real monster. She couldn't help but want to giggle. The little kiss on her nose caught her by surprise. Somehow, after everything that happened, just that little gesture was the single most romantic moment of the night. A blush spread across her cheeks.

"I...I don't mind..."

"Good, i hope to be allowed to do it when ever." He smiled and leaned his body against hers and leaned his head on hers as he looked back up at the stars. "Only two things more beautiful than the stars, the sound of a violin, and your eyes... Miss Cousin of Felicity." He smiled at her, the deception a joke to him now.

The only way she could express herself was through a good dose of violence. Not exactly appropriate, but she did give him a gentle punch on the arm. Well... she thought it was gentle, at least.

"Better not let Felicity know you're flirting with her cousin. She broke a guys arm once."

Not untrue. The real story behind it was less epic than she would like. She pushed him down the grand staircase after he tried to look up her skirt. He deserved it. She only wished she could have snapped his arm with her own hands.

He rubbed his arm and smiled wide as he leaned in, this time kissing her on the lips and holding it as he spoke behind his smile. "Should i tell her about that too, or would that get me death?" He smiled at her and looked directly into her eyes, his own deep sapphire ones shaking a bit as he looked at her. "Like a Diathim..."

Another kiss. His lips on hers again, but this time it was him that initiated it. She rested her forehead against his when he pulled away, staring back at his eyes. Dark. Blue. Like the midnight sky above. She was going to think of that sky now, every time she looked at him.

"Uh... so we were going to get you back home... right?" He smiled and looked at her eyes again, not moving an inch though, she would have to be the one to move if either of them were going to do so. He didn't quite understand why he felt like he could just sit here with her for hours, but he knew if he did he would not regret it.

"....Yeah," she said at last, pulling away first, "I should go home. Mom will kill me for being out so late."

Her face was burning like it had the night of the ball. Especially when she was alone with Owain. She almost whispered the crows name right then, but managed to stop herself in time. In was a great save. Would be awful to ruin such a nice night with a stupid mistake.

He smiled and picked up the container before walking over and linking her arm in his. "Just blame it on me, i got to meet your mother anyways and why not do so right before she has me killed instead." He smiled at her and started to walk with her, carefree and without a worry taht such a thing would truly occur... Then again, he did almost get killed in the first place because of the girl he now kissed... so this could end with him a splatter on the wall.

"Nah. Mom won't hurt you. She's intimidating, but she's very non-violent. She just might lecture you and make you feel stupid."

She had a way of doing that. She'd seen her mother subdue even the proudest politician with just a look. It made the girl jealous that she couldn't somehow manage to do the same. She could just imagine what she could do with that power...

"Well, ill make sure not to fall asleep." He smiled a bit wider and grinned as his fingers moved a bit uneasily as they were a laced. He kept his gaze on her as they walked though. He wasn't sure what would be asked or said if he met her mother, though if she was anything like Felicity, he was pretty sure he would be fine.

Felicity laughed out loud as she walked with him. Arm in arm. Mom would like him when she met him, she was sure. He was exactly the sort of gentleman she knew mom would want for her daughter.

"Just don't be intimidated by her. She can sometimes sound a little scary, but she's harmless. Honest."

Okay. That was a lie. But still.

"A Harmless queen, very interesting. Am i going to see a flying ewok next with ten foot wings sprouting out from its back?" He smiled as his tone was filled with a joking sense as Theed came into sight off in the distance. There was a phrase he had heard many times and he mumbled it as he saw the city, the words "Into the fire..." coming from him and falling on the air around them. The Air seemed to chill a bit though as they walked.
