A Few Ships Too Short

"Hmm." Cedric answered her questions rather evasively. It was all well in good that he could vouch that he had trained them personally, but... she didn't know him. Not really. His father had been a known quantity, Cedric less so. Any assurances he gave was basically asking for her to trust him implicitly, and not wanting to mention whether they had actually done anything yet was... unfortunate in her book. She could understand a healthy dose of paranoia, in fact she could appreciate that, but if you were looking for a supplier, you needed their confidence that their investment was worth it.

She wasn't convinced yet.

"I see," she said. "There does lie the problem, for me at least. You can assure me all you like, but I don't know you or your training methods. I'm sure they are all highly qualified, but I don't have proof of that. Until you have something to show for your efforts... I'm afraid Aurora Industries is not going to be able to help. We've been burned too many times in the past by Rebel Alliances for me to be as charitable as my own personal wishes might be. If it is any consolation... once you have a successful operation or two under your belt, we might be more willing to help."

As it was, if an offer to buy product was on the table, then Noire was ready to provide that product list as [member="Cedric Grayson"] had agreed to their terms.

Aurora Industries had backed out, but that was their prerogative.

"Then what we can provide is the following"

A small flick of her finger and a holographic screen came up.

"If you are looking for the ability to produce for yourselves... then look no further than the Lwhekk Alpha Class manufacturing ship." The Lwhekk Aleph is a wholly humanoid-optimized vessel, while retaining the most critical components and functions of the original Lwhekk. As a bonus, the vessel is unmistakably Ssi-Ruuvi in outward appearance, leading to all manner of false expectations.

The internal factories are optimized for the production of wartime materiel, in the mode of the original Lwhekk-class. They are fully capable of building starfighters, capital-grade guns, and starship components. A Lwhekk Aleph in partnership with a publicly available Reclaimer-class repair vessel is virtually a shipyard, or at the very least a drydock. Like the Reclaimer, of course, the Lwhekk Aleph is expensive and far from combat-optimized. Its factories work from raw materials, even asteroids and battle debris; however, its facilities are equally adept at stripping down and cannibalizing captured war materiel.

Due to modernization and automation, the original 7500 slave workers have been cut to 3500 well-paid, well-treated skilled workers.

"This just might be the best use of being able to retrofit and maintain starfighters, produce your own capital grade guns and starship components. It was formally used for the Lords of the Fringe, and there were many that are still functioning and able to be of use."

Another flick of her hand and she brought up the Tyzzeph-class Gas Miner, "This would allow you the ability to mine gasses and fuel to take them where you need them to go."

"As for distance refueling...Centarus Resupply Ship could help as well."

There were other options, unless they were looking for Haven to create a specific type of craft.
