A Deal With The Devils Advocate

The echoing of pickaxes, the dust filled air, the sun bearing down on her soft pale skin. She pulled her hood tightly over her head shielding herself from the harsh winds and sun. Askaj was a harsh place as it was but the constant attack from the loosely governed tribes didn't help out either. Then again Koaaon wouldn't be happy if a bunch of Sith showed up and enslaved her people so she cant really complain.

The woman dragged the bottom of her purple cloak through the sand towards the makeshift command base established on the planet. Her subordinates were still shook over her recent execution of the Colonel. In her defense she told him specifically NOT to set up camp in the eastern ridge...guess what he did.

The dark lord was greeted with a salute on the way inside the pressure boiling in their minds. Inside the command staff contemplated their next move in their most recent struggle. Ion cannon most supposedly the most powerful of its kind. It will be amazingly...expensive to build. This problem gets worse when you most important part the Ion pulse generator is broken because the natives stole an important component.

The staff took note of the figure and dismissed it as if they were completely disavowed with her. They never were the best of pals but this just took their rivalry to another level.

"So how goes the search for the part a certain group of representatives lost."

Imperial delegates and Sith lords struggled to find common ground. Maybe it as the constant murder that ruined their reputation and constantly get themselves branded as psychotics? Nah. The leader of the group turned around her gray hair MANY badges of office indicating she was at this for a while. But beyond that it was her powerful emerald green eyes that made her a titan. To be transparent if Koaaon was anything other than a Sith Lord she probably would have shown a look of fear.

And by looking at the woman's smug expression Koaaon had the feeling she knew that too.

"Alas we have not considering a certain Sith Lord of ours whose literal job is to ensure our protection may or may not have failed to do their one simple task. But calling names is rude so I wont say whom's fault it may have been."

Damn. The worst part of it all was that she was right. The part went missing on her watch so it was her responsibility to get it back. How to go about that was the tricky part.

"But no matter the weapon is at partial functionality. I have informed the fleet to leave for the time being while we test our new portable Titan class Ion Cannon."

The room erupted with applause as a blue beam of light crackling with energy blasted from the planets surface....immediately immobilizing all craft in the area.
