T'was the night before Life Day,
And all through Commenor,
Not a creature was stirring,
Not even [member="The Matador"].
The tea sets were stored,
In the cabinets with care,
Even the bottles of whiskey,
For both Terrac and Veiere.
The halls of the Royal Palace,
Were kept watched by the guard,
While Justice Minister Darlyn in his room,
Filled out his adoption card.
Both [member="Mythos"] and Bradshaw,
Lay snug in their beds,
While visions of their wild parties,
Bounced around in their heads.
With Kay in her kerchief,
And Veiere in his cap,
They'd both just settled down,
For a desperately needed nap.
When out in the hall,
There arose such a clatter,
The guards sprang from their posts,
To see what was the matter.
When what to their sleepy
Eyes did appear,
But [member="Ghorua the Shark"] ,
Dressed in holiday cheer.
His eyes were a twinkle,
Gifts tucked under an arm,
While he picked up a chair,
He knocked over in alarm.
To the Ballroom he went,
With Minna right by his side,
She snuck on silent feet,
Ghorua beeming with pride.
The Life Tree stood tall,
Surrounded by presents galore,
There were piles of them everwhere,
Did they buy out every store?
Tags adorned every gift,
Like Darben, Renla and [member="Jairdain"] ,
A multitude of names,
Of whom Ghorua had to explain.
[member="Cato Marek"] , [member="Cassius Droma"] ,
Even old [member="Than Balthor"] ,
[member="Lauri Törni"] , [member="Kirie Ito"] ,
[member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] and more!
Each one was special,
To the great Queen and King,
Through their loyalty and friendship,
Peace to the CSA they'd bring.
Only a few hours till Life Day,
So Ghorua and Minna snuck off to rest,
For when it came to Life Day celebrations,
The CSA did it best.
This is my gift to you all,
And I hope it wasn't a bore.
We've had a great year together,
And I hope for plenty more.
