A Common Cause

It seemed the statement "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." was most certainly true. A few years ago, Krayzen would have never thought he would work with a former Republic-aligned planet; many changes had occurred, and with it, a changed man. That was one of the reasons he had willingly decided to go to the planet.

From what he had been seen via public sources, Kiribi was a wealthy planet in the Core region. He was not aware of the recent history of the planet, as well as some of the more notorious public figures due to him having been in exile, and his responsibilities didn't allow him spare time to look at recent history unless he needed to.

An old starfighter dropped out of hyperspace, bearing no origin from the Iron Empire, or anything related to the Anzati. Krayzen was extremely cautious after an attempted assassination on him, and he didn't want his enemies to know where he was, or to bring the danger with him.

"Sir, we are here." a droid said, as he transmitted his IFF tag to the spaceport. He expected his guest to be waiting for him. It was there that they would begin the meeting.

Traffic was heavy in the Kiribian system, tens of thousands of ships coming to and fro from Kiribi and the other planets on an hourly basis to conduct their business. The system was a major financial and trade hub along the Hydian Way, and prime destination among tourists from the core and inner rim for its verdant beaches and other attractions based around impeccable ecological management by the government.

As with other visitors, Krazyen would be processed by Kiribi's intra-system network of traffic control centers. After an exchange of information between Krayzen's ship and control, he would be directed down Dalian spaceport along the coast near Old Izrul, the political center of the entire Union. One the ground, customs would be quick to begin their inspections, which included an intensive bio-scan for foreign contaminants. Security was tight as Kiribi was still in a state of war with the Sith, and as a spaceports had become a favored vector for terrorist attacks as of late.

Upon word of Krazyen's arrival, Arisa would take the quick speeder trip from her apartment to the spaceport. She sent him a quick message as she stepped through the entrance, indicating that she would meet him at the terminal hub where he had landed. From there, she would take him directly to KSA headquarters to discuss business. Through the Silver Jedi, the the KSU had come into contact with the Iron Empire based out in the far reaches of the Unknown Regions in a region that was traditionally known as Chiss space. For KSA, that meant a new customer to sell their wares of high tech arms and warships. The Republic may be gone, but this was an era of unprecedented growth for KSA as the Union finally stood on its own as a galactic player.

The Anzat was not surprised that he would be thoroughly inspected, considering his former affiliations. It was why he had decided not to bring any weapon, nor did he have any armor. Krayzen was formally dressed for the meeting, due to what they were going to discuss.

When the inspections had been done, Krayzen was allowed to exit his ship via his exit hatch. Krayzen then went to the terminal entrance, where [member="Arisa Yune"] had told him they would meet. When he saw her, the Anzat simply nodded, stating "Hello." in a kind manner to his host.

He awaited her response, as went to the KSA headquarters on Kiribi to discuss business.

She felt the man before she laid eyes upon him, his dark aura standing out among the passing crowds of the terminal. In the crowds, she picked out a few Abhorsen - Kiribian Force Adepts - hovering in the area near him. His dark affinity would have been grounds for interrogation, but they held off bothering him because they had been made aware of his arrival well in advance by Arisa, and she gave her word to them as Watchman that he wouldn't cause trouble. A few years ago, she probably would have never had anything to do with the Dark Jedi, a former member of the One Sith, but with time came change. She had grown more pragmatic in her fight against the Sith. If someone was willing to shoot at the Sith, then they were usually deemed okay in her books.

"Hello!" She exclaimed with a smile on her face, extending a hand to shake. "It's a pleasure to have you here General
Dratos. I trust you made it well?"

The infrastructure in Kiribi was most certainly impressive. A part of him wondered if it would be possible for an internship program between the Iron Empire's most promising students to come to Kiribi to learn from the people here. Perhaps it can be raised at another time.

When he met Arisa, the Anzat simply nodded respectfully, and also stretched out his hand in a handshake. An inquiry as how his trip was was expected, and Krayzen responded with "Quite interesting actually. Travelling from such a deep part of the Unknown Regions to the Core Worlds allows me to read on books that have aways interested me."

"How was your day?" he replied.

The Anzat then sat down, prepared for the meeting to begin.
