A Blind Chick Here, A Blind Chick There, Blind Chicks Everywhere! (Carliah/DragonsFlame)

Josh looked out into the distance during a visit to Coruscant... The Senate building. He remembered it's insides and what it used to look like quite well. Yet here it was, nothing now but a pile of rubble. The Sith had attacked and laid one of the Republic's foundations to nothing. Josh had been in the building during it's collapse, trying to save innocents, but there wasn't much he could do for the building itself.

He sighed. The Sith would pay for what they had done. But for now, there wasn't much he could do but wait... Wait... Train... Immerse himself further into the Force and allow himself to be strengthened, to prevent the Sith from bringing on anymore harm to innocents...

Jacen.... Mikhail.... Lussk... Three men who Josh knew full well were in cahoots, whether Dranok denied it or not... They would regret what they had done.

He looked out at the busy streets of Coruscant. Regardless of the travesty, life would go on. People busied themselves both on foot and by speeder as if innocent lives hadn't been lost just a few miles from them. He sighed and shook his head as he walked, his hood on his Jedi robes covering his head and face that held infinite degrees of sorrow.

Life goes on.

Walking the Path to Redemption
Carliah was hurrying down the street, Yusan had sent her to run a few errands for him while he was busy dealing with what she could only assume were Senate issues. She was doing fine with avoiding crashes into people, but she had to stop and pull herself up off the ground every once in awhile after tripped over a crack in the pavement or some other obstacle.@[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

Josh noticed the Miraluka woman rather clumsily navigating the streets of Coruscant. The Jedi was no stranger to seeing them after all. He had turned a Miraluka Sith away from the Sith Empire, and had reunited another with a lost loved one, who he may or may not be seeing today. Regardless, he tilted his head curiously at the sight.

"Need some help?" he asked as she passed him.

Carliah blushed slight. She hated it when people commented on her clumsy way of navigating the city. She was trying to find someone who could teach her to see inanimate objects using the force, but she'd had no luck so far. "Uh... I'm trying to get back to Yusan Fenn's apartment.

"Yusan?" he asked. "I know him. His apartment's just up the road" he said.

Odd... Could she be the person that Yusan had mentioned he was hoping to get Force training from? He couldn't remember, for the life of him...

"Need a hand getting there?" he asked, concerned.

Carliah nodded. She was clutching a small bag to her chest. It looked like Yusan had sent her grocery shopping. Luckily nothing in the bag was breakable. "I'm his new assistant. My name is Carliah Dakrone." @[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

"Josh DragonsFlame. Jedi Knight" he introduced, smiling a bit. "Alright, let's get you to Yusan's" he added, taking her by the hand for guidance gently. Wasn't the first time he'd guided a Miraluka through Coruscant by the hand, and he doubted it would be the last.

Carliah nodded and kept her head tilted down towards the pavement. She a had never met a jedi before and the idea that she was being guided through the streets like a small child by one came as a surprise to her. "How do you know Yusan?"@[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

"We've done business in the past" he explained. "He's the Vice Chancellor in the Senate, I'm one of the head honchos in the Jedi" the Jedi Council's Weaponmaster added. "It's a given that we've worked together a few times at least"

Josh tried to remember which apartment was Yusan's... He had seen it once or twice, but never been in there personally.

Carliah nodded but otherwise said nothing. She had lived in Coruscant for five year now but she still knew very little about the city aside from what dangers lie waiting in it's streets. She instead felt around for Yusan's presence. For sensitive beings each had their own unique aura and it was easy to sense Yusan's. "He's a few floors up."@[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

He nodded a bit. "Thanks" he said as he walked up. Once they got up there, he released her hand, hoping she'd be able to find the correct door without falling down the stairs.

"Oh wait, here it is" he said, knocking on Yusan's door to let her know that he'd found it.

"It's right here, Carliah"

(Oh crap, how did I miss this?)

He watched her carefully, hoping she wouldn't fall and hurt herself. It was odd, why did some Miraluka have trouble like she was, while others did it flawlessly? Maybe it was because Saoirse was a Sith, and had time to learn these things out of necessity.... He sighed. What was this strange woman's association with the Vice Chancellor, he wondered.
