Faction A big fat Red Dragon Wedding (TRD alliances and friends only)

Revenge-of-the-Sith-Warehouse-Wedding-34.jpg

Today was Mike’s second wedding. This time it was to Salis. Salis and him were best friends, but it was time to step out of the shadows and begin a new chapter together. Mike knew that this was the right decision.

He stood at the front of the altar on Bespin. He was just watching everyone to arrive. This was his first actual wedding. Mike had to make sure it did not go off with a hitch. Mike knew that it would be best to be on guard, so he was wearing a black suit with his lightsaber hanging off of him. Mike could not wait to begin.

Laziryth stood in his home awaiting any further instructions from his master.. Then suddenly on his holo communicator he received an invitation to his master's wedding. Laziryth was ecstatic to hear this great news. He departed immediately to the alter's location given in the message to show his gratitude.

He also decided to bring him credits.. To act as a token of his excitement for the new duo.

Flacco would finish a session of boxing as he took off the bloody rags off his hands and sat on a nearby bench. He grabbed his bottle of water and begun drinking it. After finishing it, he would stay seated as he let his body rest for a little bit.

This was an...unusual day for her. Salis hadn't had a solidified connection with anyone since her parents. The fact she'd managed any kind of friendship, even with such stretches in between after she left the Sith, was almost a miracle. Let alone that there was any chance of...marriage. She'd kept herself disconnected, friendly, but disconnected. Unable to fully provide the substance of actual relationship and only the most superficial. Yet somehow, here she was, with Mike V'Trechen. It wasn't exactly an...anticipated scenario. But it happened.

She had chosen, with some very long consideration, to actually wear a type of dress. The dress itself was of a red color with good portions of lace. But otherwise might be seen as rather simplistic. Of course, Salis was Salis. And in almost all her life, in spite of almost never being afraid of anything. She'd chosen to wear underneath it Shell Spider Silk. And had her lightsabers hanging at her thighs, accessible through a concealed fold. As well as two Phrik Knives in her boots. She never did seem to go anywhere without weapons.

Here she was, ready to walk in to the strangest, and most enjoyable day, perhaps of her life.

Laziryth would arrive at the alter happy for his master and his partner for there achievements.. But Laziryth had another curiosity.. He had never met his master's partner.. He was nervous. Laziryth arrived at the alter location to see his master dressed very well as Laziryth approached.

"It is an honor to be here master. " Laziryh stated handing him credits as a wedding gift. Laziryth then walked over to one of the many chairs strown about and took a seat awaiting the beginning of the lovely wedding.

Mike V’Trechen saw his apprentice. He was happy that his apprentice was there. Mike was just about to say thank you, but Salis had just walked in with her beautiful dress. The piano started to play. Mike looked at his partner and started to watch her go down the isle. While the lawyer was getting ready to talk.

Salis could see Mike V'Trechen Mike V'Trechen waiting for her, smiling as she continued to walk forwards. There was no sign of embarrassment on her face, no sign of her either rushing or slowing this process. She kept it exactly the ways he wanted. She also took note to look to the side to see Laziryth Laziryth . She had not yet seen the new apprentice, and only slightly paid him heed. This moment did not belong to him.

Her approach would take its time, but it wouldn't exactly be short. She liked the control of the situation. But Salis was not one to be prone to patience. It was just that she enjoyed the waiting time sometimes, enjoyed things to be done a certain way. But that didn't mean she was going to move extremely slowly about this.

Salis grinned as she looped arm around his own leaning her head as she did so. Ready to walk further along in this route, make a new decision. Whether or not Salis had the full comprehension of eternity was a matter of uncertainty. But she did grasp pieces of it, and right now what she'd understood for a long time was that she enjoyed having a relationship with Mike. Regardless of the situation. He might be a little difficult at times, mainly when he wasn't sure what he wanted, but that was just one piece of a grander matter.

The lawyer had everyone sit down. The Lawyer started to go through the wedding ceremony.

The Lawyer said, “We are gathered here today to witness the union of Mike and Salis. Welcome friends and family! We're glad to have you with us.

Today is the beginning of a remarkable journey for this couple. Drawing on their mutual admiration, respect, and trust, they are ready to embark on the next chapter in their lives. We celebrate the love and light evident in their relationship and wish them well on this joyous occasion.”

Mike was a little fidgety when he looked at Salis. He could not wait to party and have fun with his fiancé.

[ MUSIC ]

The civilians on the street turned to a sudden commotion, a small group of people walking towards a nearby chapel. "One day who knows?" Hacks shouted, singing along, "Someday I suppose!" There was a bounce, hop and skip to her walk, earbuds blasting music into her ears. She wasn't aware if her friends were as enthusiastic as she was but Hacks had never been to a wedding. The Red Ravens weren't big on them, and she'd been flying solo mostly since - until now.

Hacks was wearing a metal collar around her throat, a pair of modified glasses and a large high-collar jacket that had four sleeves. Paint was marked over the jacket and the names of various bands were sown into the fabric. A vibroblade rested over her shoulder in one hand, a bowl of noodles in another, a third hand was holding up a datapad as she was on a video call with someone else. She threw a peace sign with her fourth hand, "Ayo Daiya, 'soz you couldn't make it. No kids allowed. Bummer.." She ended the call.

Hacks turned to face her friends, grabbing a handful of Dyre's collar and tugging at it a bit as she continued singing along to the music, "There was a place and the name of the place escapes me, when I can't remember it irritates me. Could be I can't remember, could be I choose to not. Let's move the song along and try to find the plot!" She left go of Dyre, quickly slurped up a mouthful of noodles and discarded the bowl onto the street with a ceramic shatter. Hacks sheathed the vibrablade and entered the chapel where the wedding was taking place, "Yikes, bit late," she whispered to her friends. Hacks quickly led the Darkwire Shadowrunners to their seats.

Hacks wild behavior brought a smile to Dyre’s face. In his experience weddings were a solemn affair and involved less partying and more talks of politics and war, though such was the nature of the time and place he hailed . She seemed excited, joyous even, to be attending the event and it was not his place to deny her that happiness.

As they group entered, Dyre quickly inspected himself. Though this was far from a military mater, old habits died hard and he felt compelled to verify that his attire was neat and tidy. He quickly adjusted his belt, bringing his buckle into alignment with the rest of his fixtures and verified that his blaster pistol was latched into the holster properly. He looked the very picture of the officer he was trained to be.

Seeing that the ceremony had already begun, he made no noise save for the sound of his steps as he followed Hacks to their chosen seats. Sitting beside her, her turned his attention to the front of the room and the ongoing ceremony.

Stumbling through the crowd with these new people, new friends, Max nearly bumped into several civilians apologising the whole way. He had just finished a recent job with some company whose name he couldn't remember at the moment drinking it away given what had been done on that mission.

He eventually heard someone singing quite nicely and thus he broke off from his friends stumbling through the town as he did so finding the singer was a four armed woman. Wait was the drink getting to him more. No she definitely had four arms as she made a peace sign with one of them.

He began stumbling after them only to find them going into a chapel. "Huh odd that." he said out loud thinking he was speaking in his head. He decided if he was going to follow them he would need to be cleaned up as he found a bucket of water and shoved his head deep in it. He snapped his head back up shortly after from the cold brisk water. "Alright lets dry myself up then I will go in."

It didn't take him long to pull out a hair dryer of sorts well something of his own design anyways that cleaned him up and warmed him up. He slowly made his way into the chapel being careful to make sure he didn't seem drunk, managing to find a seat behind the woman he had heard earlier. As he properly looked around finally having a seat he saw it was a wedding. Well he'd never been to a wedding nor crashed one before even if it was by accident. It should be fine he thought to himself.

Siddling up to Hacks, Enigma threw his hands out, the sleeves of his tuxedo cut at the shoulders to expose the sickly pale flesh beneath, tattoos and cybernetics in their entirety. Throwing a thumbs up to Daiya as the video call ended, Enigma did a quick twirl, moonwalking his way in to the wedding.

If there was a way to make an entrance into a wedding, it was a moonwalk and if anybody disagrees with me, well they aren’t in here so they don’t get a say.

Getting invited to the wedding with Hacks alongside Dyre and some of the others was a great opportunity for the runners to blow off some steam without disrupting a government, 0’ing a credit line or just generally spamming the Jedi order archives with videos of cats, instead they were now invited to one of the most elite, exclusive and impossible to get an invite events of the year.

Walking alongside his two associates, Enigma caught his reflection in some of the silverware and grinned behind his mask, the comparison of fine formal wear that had been grafittid with spray paint and heavy machinery was one that he thoroughly enjoyed. Throwing his hands over the pairs shoulder, he laughed excitedly.

“Whooooooo’s ready for Bridesmaids!?!?!???!!”

Laziryth sat quietly enjoying the wedding, however he heard a disturbance behind him. He turned and examined the now packed room and saw the disturbance to be coming from a Cyborg like himself. A women. Laziryth stood up his 6'3 frame and walked down the isle to the row that he had seen her in.

"I would really appreciate it if you minded your manners in my master's wedding..?Thank you. " Laziryth asked and responded politely with an annoyed tone.

This was different from how Laziryth would normally react to such rudeness but he did not want to interrupt the good moods of the attendees. Laziryth then turned and walked back to his seat and continued to enjoy the wedding.

The lawyer saw that this interruption was over. The lawyer and Mike both got mad. Mike was happy that his apprentice stood up and was about to fight.

“Everyone,” said Mike. “Please do not interrupt again. If any one of you interrupt this wedding again, I will be fighting. Trust me, you will not like me in a rage. I am sorry, my love. Please go on Lawyer.”

The Lawyer said, “If anyone has cause to object to the forming of this union, speak now or forever hold your peace.”

Mike was happy that all of this was really happening. He took a quick look at the audience and looked at the lawyer again.

The Lawyer said, “Marriage is an integral part of the human tradition. Let us remember, as we stand here before the Universe , that the vows taken today hold great importance, just as they did to our ancestors. As individuals, we make the choice to enter the union of marriage in order to share all aspects of ourselves with our soulmate. Today, this is true for Mike and Salis. There are few greater joys in life than finding someone with whom we truly "click."”

Salis remained as if she were standing proudly for an award, glancing occasionally at Mike as the Lawyer went on. However as they continued there seem to be a great bit of hustle and bustle as more people began to arrive. There was a bit of noise causing her eyes to turn towards them, folding her hands behind her back cocking her head as Mike V'Trechen Mike V'Trechen and Laziryth Laziryth seemed to both try and deal with it. Mike being a bit less subtle, but she hadn't really known him to be particularly subtle most of the time. Even making threats which made her chuckle a little bit.

However the lawyer would continue on, talking about soulmates and marriage and tradition. Not that Salis had really known much about any of that before. She just did what she knew, which admittedly, was mostly killing and fighting. Which she was good at. But this was something very much different and so for once, she was a little unsure how to act. The sense of attempting something new and different. Strange to her. And yet, it was exciting.
