A Base for the Republic, and a Home for an Army. (Republic/Jedi/Echani)

Yusan stood over looking what had been the burned ruins of his old home and grimaced slightly at the sight. He hadn't been to this spot in two years now, it had been where his mother was left to burn alive by that scum and for me to be powerless to save her. He clutched his hands tight and grabbed his comlink, details being relayed to him as a Prefab was being dropped near this site. He had chosen it for a base for two reasons, it was in the middle of a wide open plain that was flat and allowed for structures to be securely built over it, and for the fact that he would turn the site of his greatest failure into his greatest achievement. The Prefab was ten minutes out so he had that long to look on the burnt ruins and think on the past. A few no doubt came with him, and if they needed to speak up they would, but for now he was thinking on his sorrow in silence.

 

[Sarianna]

Sarianna rolled her shoulder at the site, it was something to behold sort of. Her staff tapped the ground back and forth going towards the burned ruined area. Her modest garb stayed tight with only the dangling necklace the jedi master had given out to several people showing the work they had done. It wasn't what she expected but it made her feel... Strong or at least more energetic in the force. The force signature of it was strange but not one to complain it made using the force to practice fighting much easier and that was what she liked the feeling of a mini force battery around her neck to help maintaining battlemind, to help if she tried to battle meditate. "This is an interesting location."

 

[Vexander Graves]

Dressed in his Alpha 7 Cover armor and with his XS-09, the young corellian Padawan scouted the place and recorded as much information about the terrain into the Hud of the helm. The idea was to transmit the data to the Command Center once that it was properly stablished to determine perimeters and to start placing defenses around the base.

The young man headed back to where the @[member="Yusan Fenn"] and his other colleagues were after finding a few nice sniper nests that he could use in case of emergency and recorded them in his head for personal use... one thing that he learned back at the Academy was to remain quiet about certain things in order to become a shadow.

Without actually looking like a Jedi, but still with his training saber clipped to his belt, the young man approached both: Yusan and @[member="Sarianna"] "Well, seems that the place is clear Senator. We might be able to place some turrents and launch further probes just in case, but I am pretty sure about the data I brought with me" touching the side of his helm, he transmitted the information to his datapad "Just let me know when you want the info uploaded to the main servers"

 

[Josh Dragovalor]

Josh stood beside @[member="Yusan Fenn"], in his Jedi Robes, his hood over his head and covering most of his face. His arms were crossed, scanning the area and examining the area that Yusan was so focused on. Looking at Yusan, he knew this was a place of great sorrow to him... And a twinge of pity crossed the Knight's face. He wanted to comfort the man but he didn't think he would be able to find the words to say, at least not right now.

The site gave off an odd amount of force sensitivity, one that made Josh feel comfortable and relaxed. The feelings it brought out of him were strange indeed... And he could tell both @[member="Sarianna"] and @[member="Vexander Graves"] likely could feel it as well.

He took a breath, closing his eyes as he took in the sights around him through the Force... His senses trained and ready for anything that might jump out at them, at any single moment.

Yusan watched the site, taking in Vexander's information as it was transfer to him audibly. Five minutes now till the Prefab was here and he felt both a relief and heart pain for him. He breathed in and looked at Joshua Dragonsflame. "What do you think of the site, its nice and open, the ground is solid. Its far enough from any civilian areas so that nothing will happen to them and my army will be left in peace by the native populace." @[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] @[member="Vexander Graves"] @[member="Sarianna"]

He looked over at @[member="Yusan Fenn"].

"It's your army, kiddo" he said. "Do what you want. I agree, it's a good spot though. Long as we can fortificate and have it defended properly"

Yusan nodded and looked over the site, it was time to bury his past once and for all... but could he destroy his old home. No he would have to build around it, he cant let this site be destroyed as it reminded him of who he must be and of what he must destroy. The Sith will die for causing death where ever they went and he would be sure to slaughter the- "No, push out those thoughts Yusan..." He shook his head, it was that blasted voice again. Whenever he though of revenge or massacre, that voice stopped him from continuing those thoughts or carrying them out. He sighed and sat down on a nearby stone, staring of into the distance like a kid lost in thought.

 

[Vexander Graves]

The hesitation the senator had couldn't be overlooked just like that. His body language was more than obvious for anyone regardless of their Force Sensitivity, but for someone attuned to the Force, the feelings and thoughts were enhanced... even for Vexander who was just a padawan... he didn't know what it was but knew that something was disturbing him.

His soft skills were still no the best ones, stil, the young man tried to learn more about what he had in his mind and if there was something he could do. Approaching the man slowly, he attempted not to surprise him while he was deep in his thoughts, yet he let himself be heard "Senator... it is clear that something is troubling you... Is there anything I can do for you?"

Yusan glanced up and shook his head at the man's words, replying in a calm and carefully chosen tone. He didnt want to reveal more about this site than he needed, more so the burnt down ruins of a house. "No... but when the prefab gets here i think that im going to leave those ruins standing. Something about them seems different." He looked at his datapad, one minute out and the prefab would be here and land. @[member="Vexander Graves"] @[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] @[member="Sarianna Misarr"]
