  • Canon Link: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Mandalorian_armor/Legends
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: A. Barrett
  • Model: Mandalorian Armor
  • Affiliation: Allan Barrett
  • Modularity: Easier to modify, mostly in segments.
  • Production: Unique
  • Material: Limited Mandalorian Iron, Durasteel, Chromium (Heat Resistance and shredding), Bronzium (Environmental Resistance), Plasteel (For minor plating, cheaper and easier to replace), Thick strung wiring for electronics, occasional rare nano-tubes for reinforcement of specific plates.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Multipurpose
  • Weight: Considered Heavy-Ish.
  • Resistances (For each category choose from: None, Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High, Extreme Ratings of High, Very High, and Extreme will need to be added as strengths with elaboration.)
- Blasters (And other plasma type weapons): Average (Standard Mandalorian armor holds up well-ish to blaster shots)
- Kinetic: Very High (Specialized for Melee combat. Mainly built around his combat style)
- Lightsabers: Average (Mandalorian armor has SOME resistance to sabers. None more than usual, pending where he is hit)
- Other: ION: (Average, main pieces farradayed) Elemental: (High, specific bits to resist cold and to shrug heat) Vacuum: Very High (Suit is vac sealed)
  • (Short brief detail list on any advanced systems with a respective link to the technology if available. What are the types of advanced systems that this armor has? This includes stealth, Bio-restorative technology, power armor, Force Enhancements, Alchemy Enhancements, Force Imbuement enhancements, or any similar or equivalent Force or technologies that may be rare or specialized. - If these are notable enough to be strengths, you must add them to strengths)
Strengths:
  • (Provide, in list format, a minimum of 1 strength of this submission. Any resistance ratings of High, Very High, and Extreme will need to be added as strengths with elaboration.)
  • Kinetic Resistance: Allan Barrett, over time, has built his suit of 'Gam to match his fighting style. Carbon Nano tubes reinforce thinner plates to accommodate a lighter weight without sacrificing the durability and ability to absorb incoming physical projectiles and weapons.
  • Mandalorian Armor is usually vacuum sealed, and his is no different. Multiple layers and system breaks to enable a tight seal in space or underwater have been enacted.
  • Elementally, Allan Barretts gear is designed to accommodate various environments and adapt well. His main pieces have excellent insulation, and his visor can dim to appropriate light filtration. In addition to this, audibly it's rather snug and sound, able to lower the frequency of incoming decibels to non-fatal levels.
  • His suit also possesses an External Rigging, generally seen as a powered segment to his armor that can increase his base strength.
Weaknesses:
  • (Provide, in list format, a minimum of 1 weaknesses of this submission.)(If your armour is vulnerable to specific types of attack (e.g. Ion/EMP/Lightsabers) please list these here)
  • Mandalorian Armor is dense, and as such it attracts electricity fairly well.
  • It's heavy, crude, and disgusting. He definitely isn't sneaking anywhere easily.
DESCRIPTION
Allan Barrett is a big man, and his armor matches. He's never been terribly stealthy, and the battle-scarred white plates tend to give him away at a casual glance on anything except something drenched in snow-drifts. Even then, though, the sight of the man would probably not be hard to discern. In the gear he wears, it's very likely he'll just be spotted outright and shot. However, given time and the ability to close distance, the definitely dangerous man can apply a melee savagery he's built his most important piece of equipment to match. The standard use of it should be a large door-stopped or paper weight, yet unfortunately the man himself said, "I can turn that hunk of metal into a dangerous platform of war,"

Could you please a link here to where you found this image?

Also, could you add these two fields found under the "Out of Character" information heading? (You can simply put "N/A" behind each one if they don't apply here)

  • Restricted Missions: (If your submission uses any Restricted Items link the threads you completed the missions in here)
[*]Primary Source: (Please link and cite the sources which you are modifying for your use in your submission.)

If you could just put "Heavy" here, that would be fine. If there's a field with colored ratings, we typically need to use them specifically, though you can add more information to them besides just the ratings.

You can delete the "(For each category choose from: None, Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High, Extreme Ratings of High, Very High, and Extreme will need to be added as strengths with elaboration.)" here.

If you could add the special features of your armor here. There is where you can put things like it is vac sealed, the nano-tube reinforced plates, the visor's properties, and so forth.

Tell me a little bit more about this. Is this like a modern day exoskeleton that real life militaries are testing (or like canon Power Armor)? Or does these do something else? What specific ares of the body does this increase the strength of?
