GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Unit Name: 88th Stormtrooper Legion
    • Red Tithe
    • Blades of Nirauan
  • Affiliation: Mahporeem Imperial Remnant
  • Classification: Stormtrooper Legion
  • Description: Composed of veteran Stormtroopers who have come out of service of the temporary Imperial successor governments and sought not time-limited service, but a destiny under the ideals of the New Order. Tassar is collecting lost souls and new volunteers wherever he can find them and under an unrivaled training regime forges these soldiers into warriors of the Empire once more. They have now truly risen from the ashes of fallen states and failed attempts to bring about a new age of Imperial dominion. In an effort to differentiate the unit from common Stormtroopers and remnants, they were issued red armours and have promptly received a matching nickname for their colouring.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
To lead Imperials, they need to be inspired by imperial symbols. Augustus Tassar understood that and in his capacity as Moff of Nirauan and leader of the Fist of the Empire, he founded the 88th Stormtrooper Legion and gave them an identity that would be difficult to miss. Formed from disillusioned Stormtroopers from remnants, fallen regimes and new recruits, the 88th became a home for those who longed for purpose, desired continuity and wanted to fight with zealous fury for an Empire that did not yet exist and has not existed in decades.

Reman Brom
Under the leadership of High Colonel Reman Brom and Tassar himself, the Legion soon turned into a finely tuned instrument of order. Not without ideological influences from both of course. Where Tassar introduced anti-Force user tactics and drills, Brom created an esprit de corps of deep comradery and shared destiny. The 88th prospered and once Tassar transfered his active presence to the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, they have been waiting for reassignment to the new command where they would bring pride and glory to the new Imperial state.

Yet their longing to serve an Empire would never cease.
