DESCRIPTION

The 88th Mechanized Assault Group was an ancient and former Imperial Remnant military unit. It's revival is just one of a series of attempts to strengthen the One Sith Empire military. It's role is to provide a versatile unit capable of being deployed in a series of terrains, environments and scenarios. While the assault group boasts a range of units, it will ordinarily only field half of its total strength.

The type of units deployed are done so on a case-by-case basis, meaning that it is likely to see a single AT-AT with a small retinue of troopers to provide infantry support, or a strong force of solitary AT-ST's, and alternatively half the company of troopers while being provided air support from the starfighter squadron that is attached to the company.

The type of units deployed will be decided by the two leading officers, Captain Nero and the Sith Acolyte, Sabik Dhami. The 88th Mechanized Assault Group heavily relies on outdated technology of the Empires of old. The 88th is easily replenished, drawing recruits straight out of the academy to fill gaps in the ranks. The unit has a highly disposable nature, just like its commander, an Acolyte of the One Sith. Their tech reflects their disposability, using equipment that is outdated and thus disposable.

Sorry for the delay in getting to this, work has been long and time-consuming in RL, so just a few questions that need clarified upon

• Which Imperial Remnant is this from? As there actually is a faction that is the Imperial Remnant/Galactic Empire and if it is from that I would need a thread to show the split
• Your current availability would suggest there is only just this one singular unit of forces, and not something larger. I'm just wondering if you wanted a possible expansion to that or not?
• Why the reliance on outdated tech when they would have access to One Sith tech? Is it the choice of their commander or are they given scraps to be equipped with?

• Edits made to availability
• Scraps, this is a highly disposable unit, and thus they use disposable equipment. Though overtime I will be coming back to this submission to edit it as they grow in experience and skill, and their equipment will eventually be updated, and subsequently so will their availability.
