The 7th Republic Commandos are an elite special operations unit dedicated to defending the Galactic Republic, with a particular focus on Naboo. Inheriting the legacy of veterans across multiple Republics and Alliances, they draw upon the traditions of Republic Havoc Squad, the Antarian Rangers, and Galactic Alliance Special Forces, as well as veterans and experts from them. Specializing in high-risk missions and taskings, unconventional warfare, and precision raids and strikes, the 7th carry forward generations of military experience in service to the Republic and its people.

The 7th have a reputation for results- the recent rescue of
Corazona von Ascania
from the clutches of the Sith solidified their reputation as an elite fighting force, while other actions and reports have them as violent, brash, and ill-mannered. Among their enemies, the red-eyed devils of the 7th are vicious, violent, and capable. They don't fight like regular Republic troops. They attack in the middle of the night, are violent, don't often take prisoners, and leave dead enemies in their wake.

The 7th Republic Commandos represent a lineage of elite military service rooted in the traditions of the Galactic Republic and now High Republic, carried forward by veterans such as Kaiden Rohn and Tulan Kor, and now embodied in the defense and protection of Naboo. Drawing upon the experience of earlier generations, the 7th inherit a tradition of specialized warfare, discipline, and adaptability forged through years of conflict across the galaxy.
The Antarian Rangers contributed a legacy of specialized fieldcraft and unconventional operations, while Galactic Alliance Special Forces carried forward the expertise of veteran operators into new theaters of conflict. These experiences provide the historical foundation upon which the 7th Republic Commandos build their own identity as defenders of the Republic and its interests, and are proud to call Naboo home. With Naboo as their focus, the 7th can draw upon this accumulated heritage to protect the Republic's people, preserve its security, and respond to threats that conventional forces may struggle to contain. Their presence represents more than a military deployment; it reflects the continuation of a longstanding commitment to service, professionalism, and the defense of the Republic's worlds.
They serve at the direct pleasure of the Republic- but have ties to the royalty of Naboo, with the integrated units comprised of former Naboo Defense Force troops. Hence, the 7th Commandos have a lineage to the royalty of Naboo. They have elected, as a unit, thus, to take the name of the Ruler of Naboo as a tribute to their service and lineage.
Ultimately, the 7th Republic Commandos carry the lessons of generations of special operators into the defense of Naboo, ensuring that the sacrifices and experience of those who came before them continue to serve a new generation, and make short work of the enemies of the Republic when they face them.
