Kat'Lariah Syphex

Don't. Even. Think about it.
Kat cursed as sparks flew from the holo projector aboard the Event Horizon. The blasted thing had been acting up for days. Standing up she dusted off her pants and wiped her brow. On top of it all the climate control had gone down as well, bringing the interior of the craft to a consistent 98 degrees Farenheit, in space or in atmosphere. Stepping out side of the craft she sat on the edge of the loading ramp with a sigh. Transit would be so fun until she got the climate control under control.

Tydus walked into the area [member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"], was standing, as if he was summoned from the shadows. His faceplate and dark clothing helped him blind into what little shadow there was. His eyes apreaed before his body, piercing thought the darkness like a demon spawning from the depths of the Dark Side. He slowly walked over to her, hands placed behind his back and seemingly like he was just having a stroke through the park. Yet he still had a purpose being here, and he had heard that this women could get the good he needed moved.

He let out a deep mechanical voice as he stopped walking, "Having trouble there Syphex?"

The lady crossed her arms as she saw the newcomer materialize from the shadows. She knew way too many Sith and other undesirables to find such a trick even remotely unsettling. "How do you know my name Clank?" she asked, not too kindly. The blaster strapped to her thigh was itching to be removed and fired should the mechanized fellow say the wrong thing. Not that Kat was too worried.

Tydus was an Info Broker, he knew most things in the Galaxy, even that [member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"] could get the job he needed done. He looked at her, as his red eyes narrowed in on her, focusing, he spoke up, "Miss. Kat'Lariah Syphex, gata say, took me a while to get that name down, I like to learn more about the people I'm going to hire, and that brings me to the point of this little gathering, I've got a job for you."

Tydus just got his hands on some pretty taste weapons, and he needed them moved, and quickly. The original owners weren't ones to share, and were rather upset he "Borrowed" such objects from them.

Kat listened when he said he had a job for her. Beckoning him onto the ship she stepped in herself, all the while, her hand never leaving her blaster. "What kind of job?" she asked as soon as they were away from prying eyes and ears.

Tydus followed her, he wasn't too scared of speaking with strangers or letting them lure him into a place with tight corners. He had been in quite a few scuffles in his life, and another one wouldn't change that. He entered the ship, it seemed to be falling apart, but he wouldn't voice that opinion. As he entered the ship, and even though he was using all he's ability with the force to use Force Concealement, he felt a presence near by, a force user was close.

He ignored it, as he couldn't waist any time, "I was told by some rather unsavory people that you can get supplies across the Sith Republic Border, and it would seem I need that access route in a rather quick fassion."

Kat nodded to the man, "Yeah i can do that. But if you want this express your gonna have to pay extra. But in return I do this fast, quiet, and no questions asked" she responded. She had to admit. This info broker looked like far more than just that. Of course that could all just be a long gimmick. It didn't matter. The prospect of credits was enough to allow the man to continue speaking.

[member="Tydus Wryeens"]

Tydus looked at the women up and down, "How did a beautiful thing like that get stuck working a job like this. He nodded about the payment, double wasn't bad, but credits were pretty much useless now a days. He spoke up, "Can't do credits, to easy to track, so I only pay in trade, I can double in Tibanna Gas, or bricks of Gold, what I can't Double at Gear, I'm an Arms Dealer, so I can get you gear as payment of you want?" He opened his cloak and pulled out a grenade of some sort, without pulling the pin he placed his hand out to give it to, [member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"].

He spoke, "Force Breaker Sith Grenade for example."

Kat couldn't help but grin at the sight of the ordinance. Taking the small orb she tossed it from one hand to the other experimentally. "I can work with that Clank. Nothing I like more than a big gun" she tossed the grenade back to her new client and strode over to the holoprojector. Kicking the blasted things eith her boot it suddenly sprang to life. She smiled at this response. "Alright so from where, to where, and how big is the cargo.? Also ahould I worry about it eating me and or blowing up."

[member="Tydus Wryeens"]

Tydus took the grenade from [member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"], putting it back in his coat pocket. Once he did so be walked over the the Holo-Projector. He pulled a cord from his cybernetic arm and placed it in the control panel. Once it made contact, the projector turned on to a projection of the Galaxy. It blinked a yellow square around the core worlds area between the Sith and republic border. Zooming in there were several planets in the view with a red and blue Line cutting down the middle. Two planets were brighter then the rest, with a yellow dash line connecting the two. Tydus looked at the smuggler women, then nodded, "We are gana meet up with one of my supply ships in the outer edge of Kaut from there your gana transport the goods to Cato Neimoidia, past Sith and Republic Borders."

He disconnected and looked over to the smuggler, "The republic and Sith are in disorder, getting them across the border should be decently easy as long as you don't get caught by the patrols."

Kat examined the holo-projection as the an spoke. Kuat to Cato Neimodia? That didn't seem too bad...on the other hand there still remained some unanswered questions, "Will the cargo be transferred from your ship to mine? SIze? and, once again, do I have to worry about it trying to eat my face off?" Kat didn't really care about the specifics of the cargo if truth were to be told. She just needed to know what she'd be up against if something went wrong. She'd prefer keeping her skin, a helluva lot more than she would the cargo if it came down to it.

[member="Tydus Wryeens"]

Tydus was still reinserting the cord back into his arm while [member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"] spoke. He only nodded until he was done, then stood straight up ready to answer. "No, the cargo are weapons of questionable use, thus I'm hiring a smuggler" He smiled as he said this. "As for size, they are about human sized, if not a little smaller, and they will be transferred into your ship via ejection pod."

Tydus didn't want to mention that these ships would probably not stop to give her that cargo, but more of just drop it off in deep space.

"Ejection Pods? As in floating in space ejection pods? she asked. The rest was certainly doable. Actually floating junk in the middle of space was doable as well. But it sure would make things interesting.

[member="Tydus Wryeens"]

Tydus nodded at [member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"], "Yes, like floating in space, is this gana be a problem?" Tydus didn't want to loose this job, but if this was too difficult for her then he'd have to find someone who could get the job done, and quickly. The ships would be in position in a few days and he'd have to deal with getting a new pilot, and that could be too long.

Tydus started to walk to the cockpit to wait for the young miss to take them both to the coordinates he would provide. Realizing that she was not following him he turned back around, looking over his shoulder, "Are we going or do you still have questions?"

[member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"]

The journey was long, and they were in hyperspace for the majority of the trip. Yet they were closing in, he readied his communicator to speak with the transports as soon as they exited hyperspace. Then it all happened at once.

The planet of Kuat was engaged in Battle, by his count it was the third day of the conflict. The planet was still a distance away, but the defined conflict could be made out. The rings of the planet were still untouched, but One Sith ships patrolled in the distance. They were orbiting one of the systems Gas Giants, the magnetic field of the world below messed with scanner, making them slightly invisible to those who weren't paying attention. Tydus sent out the message and looked over to Kat'Lariah, then nodded. Three Freighters appeared from the cloud below them, rose like the undead rising from the ground they lifted to become eye level with the smaller ship.

The lead ship launched 3 ejection pods before moving away from them, the other two followed until they were away from the planet. They then entered hyperspace and disappeared before their eyes.

Tydus nodded, "Looks like our cargo has arrived, I'll give them 39 min before they notice we are here."

A whistle of appreciation left Kat's lips. "Those were some nice ships there." she said as she guided the Howling Dark towards the three pods. Standing she gave her employer some instructions. "Don't touch anything unless I tell you. Just try to keep her steady." The young woman departed to the cargo bay, donning some EVA gear.

The massive suit increased her size twofold, the hulking mass the only thing that would keep her from freezing or suffocating to death in the void of space. She checked her comms, "Clank, you reading me alright?"

Those were some of the best ships he could steal from someone. They originally were owned by the UTC, and were some of the best Ships of the Line in the Fringe Territories. Thus he stole them.

As the smuggler walked away from pilots station and he just stood there. That's when he heard the smuggler speak through the intercom system. He smiled from behind his mask, moving to the station to answer her, "So does this mean I can touch things now?"
