Public 3:10 to Mos Eisley

Force users. They were seemed to be everywhere. It was not their power that was the problem, it was that they organised themselves into cults and set light to the galaxy. Xandyr had turned his back on the Sun Guard and made a living hunting down jedi and sith at the conclusion of the wars instigated by the One Sith.

The people around him did not quite seem the cultish types. It was hard to tell. He certainly trusted them less for knowing they had a connection to the Force.

Xandyr watched their back as they pressed on down the tunnels. The gamorrean had come from above, others could use the tunnels for shelter and to get the drop on their enemies.

Instead it was a trap that presented the next obstacle.

Xandyr felt a sharp pain in his leg. He looked down to find a dart embedded in his thigh.

"Kark."

He yanked it free and tossed it aside. It went 'ping' as it bounced off the duracrete and into the water.

"I hope whatever poison that was loaded with has passed its sell by date," he said, placing his hand to the hole left in his trousers. He was about to investigate when there was a crash from behind them. The sound of blaster bolts suddenly loud and clear.

It was a trap and more enforcers presenting trouble.

"Keep moving!" he shouted, firing a shot into the dust and chaos behind them.

Looking up at the ceiling he realized Mercy Mercy made a good point, his saber was dead but concealed and figured if they coulda they woulda, blaster bolts. it's always blasters. A slight push revealed the traps in their way, great, force users, and he just let them know like a beacon. For someone trying to hide it, Kain was doing a seemingly fantastic job, but the ladies with him didn't seem like Sith or Jedi so they couldn't be that bad. First the read head, then Yula, and then Xander

Watching as Yula Perl Yula Perl stepped right on the trap trip, he once again jumped like a scared child as the darts let loose. Tensing up with the force, he had seemingly blocked them all, in actuality the needles that had gotten past were so rusted or dulled they didn't punch through his more resistant flight suit, and Leather Jacket, checking himself Kain then watched Xandyr Xandyr pulling one from his leg. "I'd be less worried about the substance than the object, that probably warrants a tetanus-"

With a boom followed by blaster fire, the group couldn't seem to catch a break. Kain reached up grabbing the ceiling with the force, but before he could pull it down, he remembered that they were still under Mos Espa, that idea was a no-go, however, a shortcut wasn't out of the playbook.

Running Past the group Kain slid to a halt in front of a wall. Raising his hands the blonde made sure his path was clear of any support structuring, and once he was positive his hands thrust forward.

The wall shattered and blew forwards into another corridor, it was good enough, they could save some time bypassing the twists.
"Holy chit that worked... c'mon this should help with our schedule"

This was chaos, karking chaos, but it was doing wonders for Mercy's hangover.

The adrenaline rushed through her veins. She found herself laughing as she ran out in front, dodging darts (or trying anyway, several found their way into her arms regardless) and blaster fire from the back. The tunnel did not seem to be ending however. Where was that karking ladder? It had to be here somewhere, didn't it?

Kain solved that problem for them though.

"That's impressive, buddy." She shouted as the forcer literally ripped a hole in a wall. From out of it Mercy could just about make out the skyline. The sounds of battle were now closer. The additional sounds anyway, since they were being harrayed from one side and were currently doing their best to rush into another line of fire.

Mercy took point there.

"Dun' gotta tell me twice, " Charging forward once more and the starport came into view already. The problem? It was cut-off by a turret emplacement that was doing its level-best to keep people from fleeing.

Why? Who knew. Criminals were arseholes like that.

"I will grab its attention, y'all circle around an' take it out while it's firing at me." Mercy yelled over her shoulder before popping out of cover and laying down a few shots to grab the brunt of its firepower.

Yula barked in happiness at the heavenly sight of the spaceport. Or maybe she'd yelped in pain while removing a dark from her buttcheek—either way, they were so close.

The turret camp came into view, and her heart sank. Some things were too good to be true, but they were soooo close. Mercy peeled off, volunteering for the position of bait as the turret guns peppered fire around them.

Yula ducked behind a battered pillar and cringed as a barrage of fire pummeled the other side. "We need to hit them fast." She called to Xandyr and Kain. Peeking out from behind her cover, she assessed the pair of turrets flanking the spaceport entrance. Fething monsters. They really didn't want to leave anyone alive, did they?

"If we can get in close, I can short out those guns!" Her fingers tinged, but she was too far away to disrupt their mechanical innards. Mercy could only draw their fire for so long without becoming swiss cheese, so they had to act quickly.

The guns were firing, away from her position and onto the redheads—ducking low, she moved in closer, behind the remains of a duracrete wall.

Xandyr was perfectly content with the plan for the redhead to draw the turret fire as the rest of them advanced. Unfortunately he was pinned down by a streak of blaster fire that cut across his planned route to the next piece of cover.

"Crap!" he yelled out.

The duracrete he was hiding behind came under fire, being chipped away bolt by bolt. He twisted around the corner and fired off three quick shots towards the turret.

It didn't put if off at all, just drew more fire his way. He waved frantically at the redhead to draw some fire back her way.

Mercy cursed when she saw that Xandyr was pinned down by fire of his own.

Why couldn't any of their plans go smoothly?

"Get ready to run like feth," Mercy yelled at the top of her lungs. Would they even hear her over the whirl of the turret blasts? There wasn't any time to figure that part out. She peeked over the duracrete. Xan was waving at her. She waved back. Kind of a weird moment to wave at someone, but Mercy couldn't blame him for wanting her attention.

Most sane sentients wanted it.

She drew on the Force. Her skin deepend in the amber shade, magnifying its strength, before Mercy popped out of cover. The turrets immediately switched back their attention on Mercy.

Their blasts made her stumble back, but she managed to keep her footing.

"Come on, I dun' got all day, fethers!" Again screamed to the others as the blasts pushed her back even more. Not wounded however. Somehow her skin was deflecting the blasters... for now.
