• Unit Name: 1st Astral Marine Battalion, also known as the "Diving Banshees"
• Affiliation: Five Brothers League
• Classification: Elite Infantry
• Description: The 1st Astral Marines are a professional fighting force mostly made up of veterans of the Corellian Defence Force. While not a part of any recognized military they still maintain the strict discipline and expectations of a governmental military unit.

• Equipment: They have a standard uniform of green combat armor provided by the Five Brothers League with a vast collection of blasters, thermal detonators, and other infantry equipment bought from the private sector. Most marines choose to augment their standard uniforms with personal flashes and privately obtained equipment.
• Combat Function: The Diving Banshees serve two primary roles; security forces for Five Brothers League activities as well as as strike force to be utilized against pirates and criminal syndicates. They specialize in ship bording actions, being deployed to an enemy vessel to seize it from within.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The Diving Banshees were formed as the primary fighting force of the Five Brothers League, a group to stand above the various militias organized by the party. While their formation was a practical one; an elite security force to protect the party from any aggressors it has also served to garner publicity for the party as they are deployed regularly to deal with pirates and criminal syndicates operating within the Correll system.
