INTERACTING WITH: [member="Kid Starburn"]

He didn't react in time for Kid's improvised attack so he fell victim to his strikes, being rocked off from his feet and hitting the ground because of that. The hit to his jaw deverted towards his eyebrow, cutting and making it bleed profusely. Ar'ekk didn't lose a grip of the flail when falling, which was a positive thing despite being overrun.

"Look at that! The legendary Champion was taken down by the kid, how embarassing!

The Knight didn't find it difficult to stand up after being hit and swept off but did grimace in slight pain due to the cut in his right eyebrow, blood dripping down his cheek. Making his neck crack, the man prepared the next move to be taken.

Moving the single headed flail around to gain momentum, Ar'ekk lounged towards Kid with the weapon and aimed to hit him in the arm. If he was to hit him, then it would cause considerable damage.

"Make your bets, people! We'll be seeing blood soon."

The announcer continued to shout through the megaphones and taunted the people to make their choice on who was going to be the winner today.

Who would it be?

Rhaeon never was one to give up easily

He was now truly acting like a true competitor , his strikes able to draw blood first into the fight . The crowds had cheered at the sight of it, only grazing his brow if only he could perfectly connect his next blow he could stand a chance at winning. His quick planning would have to be of use again ,he would now have to adapt to the incoming swing.

He blocked with his left, the flails spiked ball crashing into his forearm, The impact leaving a small slash across his sleeve revealing ,a red gash down the side of his arm.

The injury to his arm he had gotten at the start of the tournament, could not even compare to what he was feeling now.All sensation he felt in his arm had become numb and lifting it was now a challenge .Gritting his teeth to hold back pain. He took this split second moment to improvise . Taking his fist as a last resort rocketing it towards Ar'ekk's open face , If he was able to dodge this it would put him in quite the dilemma , he would have to be ready when that came

" Not swift enough I suppose, ...quick thinking from the kid though taking the hit like that, Now lets see how the veteran will play his next move"

No more fooling around.

Punching, kicking, and fighting.

All in the name if entertainment, and to earn the prize at the end.

Sitting here, I decided to pull out one of my Cigarras and flip open my lighter. Taking a nice heavy puff while the two duked it out with fistacuffs and weapons.

Reaching out the Zabrak took the sweet as he chuckled a bit, "Why thank you, young lady. I suppose I should start getting crankier now that I'm old, but I don't quite feel it yet. In fact I feel quite well, more like a walk then sitting here with all this buzzing noise." Standing up he gave a last glance out to the fight, less then pleased at the odd turns it was taking. Better to walk away now, he'd take his judgement of Jyn's friend later. Instead he offered out a callused but warm hand out to his granddaughter making a mental to note for chiding Jyn for not updating him on life more often. One couldn't just surprise someone with a grandchild and a boyfriend without a hint. It was bad for an old man's ticker after all, bah, old man indeed.

Ignoring the sounds behind him as the fight continued he decided to simply read the winner later, it was an odd match but if one was the student then perhaps they were just trying to teach a lesson. "So I think we have much to learn about each other, Stardust. For instance right now you need to learn about you, and where you come from. Well and I need to learn about you too. I bet your mother hasn't told you a thing about the wonders of Iridonia, and it contains quite a bit of history of our clan you know?" Pointing at his face as he talked he showed her several different tattoos as he walked in small slow steps towards the exit. "They all mean something, about us you know? Some of them go back generations, others are for me personally. Some I've even added after leaving Iridonia, after all I spent much of my life out in the Fringe. It's a long story but now that I'm old I suppose I get to ramble on too. Part of the perks you know?" Giving her a wink as he continued to walk at her pace he gave her a bit of time to absorb it all, and see how she reacted. After all they had just met and he didn't really know if this would all be too much for her anyway.
