This is an exciting announcement to make. There are a number of plots and plans in the works, starting May 1st, which include:FO Story, Part I: A Strike In The Dark
This is a 4 month outlined faction story, with an overarching plot that will bring a mixture of excitement, danger and mystery to the First Order. It will also involve multiple factions, who are taking part over the course of the trilogy, and will be quite expansive in terms of threads and involvement. There will be a number of faction threads, dominion threads, and other threads that will compose the whole of the plot and lead the First Order into a new - and map game viable - direction where our members will have more opportunity to engage in war posting.
New Mandate (Rampant Frontier)
As of May 1st, the First Order will be adjusting it's thread and dominion plans temporarily. This will involve a new mandate, where the faction will begin to focus on a 2 month period that involves creating a number of world-building locations to expand our lore and fill in some narrative gaps. The staff team have a short list of ideas, and plan to begin working on some entries in lieu of dominions for those 60 days.
If members have ideas for locations, don't hesitate to contact FO staff so we can work together and get it done!
2nd May Dominion
On May 2nd, a new dominion will begin. It's based on an ancient Imperial era based world, and we're very excited to see how members enjoy the scenario and get involved.
Numerous Faction Threads
Concurrently with the FO story plot, there will be faction threads created for many of the branches within the First Order. These threads will be aimed at providing introductions to new and old members, to allow us to define and outline the groups within the faction, and to get to know each other's characters more fully IC.
Some of the faction threads planned include:
- Imperial Knights
- FO Security Bureau
- FO Medical Service
- FO Navy
And as we get closer to the 1st of May date, discord alerts will be sent out and things will kick off. We're looking forward to it being a great month, filled with a range of options for members, and prospective members, and are really proud of the plotting we've got prepared.
