The Royal Houses of Naboo are a group of Human noble families that comprise the aristocracy and government on the planet Naboo, also known as The Kingdom of Naboo. The Monarch of Naboo is elected from these princely families.
In recent times, Naboo's history has been marked by a period of significant transformation as the planet gradually emerges back into the galactic arena and out from under the calamitous Netherworld Crisis that occurred just three years prior, causing significant upheaval for the planet and its inhabitants. As Naboo steadily emerged from these tribulations, its citizens gazed forward with optimism to the dawning of a new era filled with opportunity and growth.
Queen Kalantha, a youthful and inspiring figure, has been recently elected to guide her people into what they envision to be a renaissance period in Naboo's history—a time when artistic achievements, cultural enlightenment, the pursuit of knowledge, and economic prosperity will once again thrive, reminiscent of their worlds past glory.
