The Nightsisters remain the dominant power on Dathomir. Together with the Nightbrothers they survive on a world that has evolved to fight for survival daily. Dauntless in the face of death itself, they build covens and communities, securing their holds, claiming dominion over the world around them and the Nether beyond.
The Mandalorian Empire extended its hand to Dathomir as 'family.' Some Clans doubt the Mand'alor's word and distrust outsiders, which invites question for their world's future. Vytal Noctura -- once Nightmother of the Mandragora, of the Solenaceae, of Ryloth -- acts as Warden to ensure Dathomir is neither forgotten nor exploited by any outside influences; her hand extended to all covens and those of authority on her homeworld, the Nightsisters will never yield and never be brought to kneel.
As Nightmother of the Witch of Ryloth, Vytal came to accept male Witches (or Warlocks) among their number; they remain welcome on Dathomir as well even while not all Covens may recognize them.
