The Children of Freedom is a melting pot of disenfranchised Outer Rim denizens, runaway slaves, ex-military deserters, and freelancers who refused to bow to galactic superpowers. They view the major factions of the galaxy as tyrannical machines and position themselves as aggressive liberators who steal from the wealthy and oppressive to fund their own sovereign survival.Operating directly from the heavily fortified battlecruiser The Safe Bet, the group functions less like a criminal gang and more like a floating, militarized commune. While they actively engage in high-stakes raiding, smuggling, and mercenary work to keep their massive home operational, they adhere to a strict internal code of loyalty to the crew and preservation of personal freedom.
