System Strain Resistance: The Ronin's High Republic reactor systems remain remarkably durable despite extensive Mandalorian retrofitting. Expanded hangars, Basilisk deployment racks, upgraded shields, and command systems have turned much of the ship into a dense web of patched conduits and rerouted power lines. Maintenance drones and access crawlways help keep the aging vessel operational, though ion damage and heavy subsystem loads can still cause cascading failures.
Points of Strain: The ship suffers the most strain during hard maneuvers while carrying deployed Basilisks or active starfighter complements. Sudden turns can stress the inertial compensators and destabilize hangar-secured craft, while prolonged combat operations may overload tactical relays, causing shield flickers, sensor distortion, or temporary command delays.
Historical Notes: Originally commissioned during the early High Republic days as a diplomatic escort cruiser designed for frontier stabilization and rapid-response operations. After military modification acts left many such vessels decommissioned or transferred, this cruiser eventually entered the service of the government and resistance forces of Ryloth. During the Incident at Ryloth, Darion seized the ship and escaped with it, later rebuilding it into a compact but heavily armed mobile fortress-carrier fit for Mandalorian warfare.
