Possible future concepts that interest me for SWRP

Current Characters (submitted and somewhat developed):

Maris Fero, Dark side force sensitive pupil who is on a path toward the sith eventually. Thief, Liar, Cheat, Scammer, vulnerable to kindness and compliments, - Unloved child growing up hard. Chameleon, insincere, full of herself. Ready to be part of something special. Ready to believe she is special. Spiteful, temper, yearning to become someone or something else.
Tia’Ilandra Shaasa, Light side force sensitive pupil aimed at the path of the Jedi Consular, struggling to find her centre. A feral child lost to society and raised to fight and survive in a battle royal scenario with other kidnapped force kids. Massive temper issues that she has worked hard to keep in check, natural talent with beasts, greatly talented with meditation and mental powers of the force. Grim to most, hard to get close to. Utterly loyal and caring when you are close. Troubled by her twin urges to give back to the galaxy for the opportunity she has been given now but also her wishes to walk away into the wilderness and live outside of society.

Possible Concepts (from stubs up to full workups):

Project War B*£%h, Hardened Veteran heavy weapon hauling muscle person, with acute hearing loss from the time around artillery and a battle-lust that includes plenty of whooping and a passionate love for the feeling of a good high recoil, high burst weapon. Bad habits, work hard play hard. Life in the corp. Outlived many comrades and carries tokens of them/tattoos. Human/Near-Human, Not ‘Ugly’ but definitely scarred and rough. NFU
Project Stellaris,
"I must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by;
And the wheel’s kick and the wind’s song and the white sail’s shaking,
And a grey mist on the sea’s face, and a grey dawn breaking."
  • Masefield

“Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volleyed and thundered;
Stormed at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of hell
Rode the six hundred.”
  • Tennyson

A Fleeter captain, preferably in some more formalised navy, (imperial style rather than ragtag rebellion, but anywhere Professional) OR maybe a pirate merc fleet - but that's less appealing. A gregarious character when off duty and far from the crew, who is a determined and respected leadership figure when in command. Raw Talent and “balls” have served their career so far, but now as they reach true levels of fleet responsibility they need to learn caution. Plenty of top-shelf alcohol and various other delicacies. Aristocracy? Born to the High life? Naval family. Functioning Alcoholic?
Not a Robot, Not a Chiss. Not a Chevin. Probably Human/Near Human. NFU
Project Runaway, Charismatic smuggler time, species fairly irrelevant, Pilot/Smuggler/Rogue. Let's face it I’m talking Han/Lando/Firefly/Mission Impossible/Hustle/Oceans 11. Pistols and Thermal detonators, jet bikes and speeders. Getaways and innuendo. NFU. ** Be aware con artist is close to Maris **
Project Toolbag, Mando Artisan, specialising in battlefield repair work and some first aid, grouchy, deeply spiritual, eternally disappointed by the lack of training of “The kids these days” despite not being very old themselves. Heavier armour but less heavily armed, compromising on weapon loadout for repair equipment modifications, what few weapons mounted are masterworks though. NFU, Forges Weapons, Armour, Skins animals, leatherworking, other traditional crafts. Drinks with the best of them, traditional songs and stories. Libertarian Mando, Believes in ‘less government interference’ and more clan independence. Could potentially be a Chevin, don't allow it to happen.

Goals of new Character.

  1. Be more openly sociable than Maris, who has a very strictly limited scope for meeting new people and travelling at this current stage in her personal development. Basically, make this character more available for threads.
  2. Do not tread on the territory of existing characters, endeavour to make characters as dissimilar as possible. Variety is the spice of life.
  3. Do not play another young and inexperienced apprentice or student. Having a mentor is fine, but this character should be independently capable at the outset, able to move around the galaxy map and if possible.
  4. Do not write a Jedi or Sith. NFU is most likely but Force Sensitivity shouldn't be written off.
  5. Do not write a Chevin. I repeat, do not write a Chevin.
  6. Ensure character ties are in place with at least a couple of writers before submission.
  7. No Chevins.
More to come as I imagineer.
