By Order of the Triumvir of Power to all Sith Empire Alchemists and Sorcerers

Per decree by Darth Arcanix, the following guidelines have been created to classify experiments performed within the fields of Sith Alchemy and Sith Sorcery as an effort to protect the alchemists and sorcerers from performing experiments beyond their present abilities, to control the rate of potential reality altering or threatening events, and as a quick reference for aspiring alchemists and sorcerers to know what they have to look forward to:
  • Class I - Entry level alchemy or sorcery, Acolytes or beginners at the generic Sith academy level
    • Minor alterations to species or individuals (i.e. changing of skin tone, eye color, adding claws or fangs, etc.)​
    • Beginning artifice of Sith artifacts and forging techniques​
  • Class II - Alchemy or sorcery within the grasp of lower Knights or highly skilled Acolytes, first half of curriculum at Sorzus Academy
    • Intermediate alterations to species or individuals​
    • Intermediate-level artifacts, alchemically forged weapons and armor​
    • Beginner Mechu-deru​
  • Class III - Alchemy or sorcery within the grasp of most Knights, second half of curriculum at Sorzus Academy
    • Major alterations to species or individuals
    • Lesser Sithspawn creation (i.e. Mutates, lesser creatures)​
    • Mechu-deru, excluding creation of Technobeasts​
    • Journeymen-level artifacts, alchemically forged weapons and armor​
  • Class IV - Alchemy or sorcery within the grasp of upper Knights or newly anointed Sith Lords and Ladies
    • Necromancy, excluding experiments involving Blackwing virus (refer to Appendix B for Blackwing Virus Restrictions)​
    • Greater Sithspawn creation (i.e. Terentateks, melding of species)​
    • Some communing and experimenting with the Netherworld​
    • Expert-level artifacts, alchemically forged weapon and armor​
    • Creation of new Sith magic spells​
    • Creation of new Sith viral-based weapons (i.e. rakghouls, nanogene spores, bioweapons)​
  • Class V - Alchemy or sorcery generally undertaken by Masters of Sith Alchemy or Sorcery
    • Master-level Sithspawn creation (i.e. Leviathans and creatures of such complexity)​
    • Summoning of Netherworld entities​
    • Master-level artifacts, alchemically forged weapons and armor​
    • Creation of new Sith rituals​
    • Construction of Sith Meditation Spheres and/or their enhancement​
  • Class VI - Requires advisement of the process to the Triumvir of Power, does not require permission, but the presence of a Master is advised.
    • Dread Master-level Sithspawn creation (i.e. Dark-side birthed creatures)​
    • Altering of Netherworld entities​
    • Grandmaster-level artifacts, alchemically forged weapons and armor (i.e. Gauntlet of Kressh the Younger)​
  • Class VII - Requires expressed permission from the Triumvir of Power, should only be performed by a Master
    • Creation of city-level scale Sith alchemically weapons, vehicles, or artifacts (i.e. Force Harvester, Dark Reaper)​
    • Grandmaster-level Sithspawn creation (i.e. Hydra from Mandalore Invasion and other creatures involving such complexity or major Sith sorcery to create)​
  • Class VIII - Requires expressed permission from the Triumvir of Power, the Shadow Hand, and the Emperor to be performed
    • Refer to Appendix A on Asation-level event/ritual​
    • Transdimensional Experimentation​
    • Lothal Project​
    • Creation of planetary-scale artifacts, weapons, and rituals​
Appendix A - All experiments involving the being known as the Lotek'k and its offspring and/or the creation of multiple tears within the fabric of reality to that dimension

Appendix B - All experiments involving the substance known as the Blackwing Virus/the Sickness are classified as Class VII but with additional stipulations that include the following: presence of complete facility purge protocols in event of containment breaches, on site development of treatment and/or vaccination of viral strain being created, weekly reports are to be submitted to the Triumvir of Power, with biweekly inspections by chosen representatives and/or complete facility purge-capable droids
