An Awkward Introduction to the Galaxy

Hello!
I've wanted to start a blog for a while, but never really believed I could keep it up. But seeing that there's an option to have one here, I figured, why not? I can give it a go at least.

Okay, who even are you?
Hi! I'm Fae! I also answer to Faegard or Valrayne. I've been role-playing for around nine or ten years now. That role-play spans across the tabletop (Vampire the Masquerade, D&D, the Star Wars RPGs and Cyberpunk), one or two MMOs (predominantly Elder Scrolls Online, which is usually where you'll find me when I'm not here) and a few forums here and there.
What are you like?
This... kind of depends on who I'm around. I tend to be a bit of a social chameleon, and I'll mimic the atmosphere of whatever group I'm in. Stripped of all that? Hopelessly awkward, very shy and introverted. But I love trivia (especially biology or science), Doctor Who, and all things fantasy.

There's really nothing all that exciting here. I had a dream about a fairy whose name was Faegard.
How did you find your way to Chaos/Why now?
I'd actually heard whispers of this place here and there in my MMO circles. I googled around and found it pretty quickly. I'm here now because RPing in an MMO generally requires setting aside four or five hours at a time and can be a little much to keep up with, particularly in group settings. Also, most MMO guilds I've been in used the voice channels pretty regularly, so I was looking for something where that wasn't as prominent.

What are you looking for here?
Roleplay! My focus is mostly focusing on building Valrayne's story as richly as I can. I'm hoping to see her grow and learn, get smacked down into the dirt, then pick herself up and learn from her mistakes. She's just as much my stress ball as my creative muse. I am very excited to see where her story ends up going.
Favorite music? Movies?
I tend towards metal/symphonic metal/rock for my music, but I'll belt out a Disney tune with the best of them. Powerwolf, Heilung, Blackbriar, Two Steps From Hell, Lordi, Dragonforce will always win me over. Movies? Anything that's not a romcom or romantic drama. Seriously, I will leave the goddamn room, Karen, how many times must I say it?!
