NOXIS TOWER, AVALONIA, DOSUUN.

Her icy blue eyes lingered upon the sleeping figure of her beloved next to her as she almost did not wish to pull herself free of the warm embrace that the blankets of the bed provided and yet, work called. The woman had awoken the instant that a sound had pinged on a separate system from M.A.R.I.S and she had lifted a finger to her lips to silence the A.I before it woke up Fevris Derzelas. Pale fingers reached out to lightly run her fingers through the medical officer’s hair and she leaned forward to press a feather light kiss upon the top of the woman’s head. Her significant other needed to sleep, for she had been working extremely hard on her project and the assassin would not deem it necessary to wake her.

After quietly exiting the bedroom, the pale woman moved to seat herself down upon the couch, while the soft material of her nightdress softly whispered of her movements as the thin fabric caressed her skin. Fingers reached for the datapad and pulled up one of the messages; one which had been sent to her from her brother, Isley. Then she flicked over to the other message from a Shadowfeed agent; a Raven in the Surric system.

All was not well.

Her eyes slowly slid closed while a sigh parted her lips. It wasn’t that she didn’t expect the man to resign, for he had been rather outspoken when it came to his grievances; she had just hoped for the sake of the Viceroyalty and her brother, that the man would try to be less of a rocket launcher round and more diplomatic in his approach. It seemed that he just could not see the benefits of a diplomatic approach.

Brother, I placed a Raven within the Surric System a long time ago when the ex Viceroy Draconis Sederius Wolf, first began to make noises within the Viceroyalty Chambers.

As it happens, the moment that he took off his pin, was the moment that his people began the deconstruction of all that the ex Viceroy had built during his time in office. My Raven will continue to monitor the situation and any unrest that may ensue, as well as when the ex Viceroy returns, they will shadow and observe unseen. I’ll keep you informed of any more developments should they arise.

Furthermore, I must inform you of another matter. Reports have come in from other Ravens that there are whispers of a potential assassination plot within our borders. While the source is still unconfirmed, you should keep an eye on the intended target(s). Especially considering that the weakest point within our defenses would likely be the influx of refugees. I’m sure that Gerwald would agree that a thorough screening process of all coming in, is vital in order to maintain and keep all of those within our borders, safe. Meanwhile, I’ll have my Flock keep an eye out for any suspicious activity within our borders- As always.

Quietly, after she sent the message, she placed the datapad upon the table and made her way to the kitchen where she began to brew coffee.

The galaxy was in disarray. Battle lines were being drawn and yet although the CIS had decided to focus upon its own borders, there was still unrest by the likes of Draconis. Yet the MoS had to agree, the refugees were their weakest point, but her attention could not fully rest upon them. It was Gerwald’s responsibility to screen them, as was his duty as the Lord Commander of the KO, so her thoughts flitted away from the topic.

For now, she would wait. Wait until her beloved awoke so then she could have the hard conversation of relocating them to a far safer place. Dosuun was not safe, at least not for her and her only weak point was Fevris. So she had to stay close to that, especially when many thought that she herself was a Sith just because of her last name; when in fact, the woman was neutral.

With a mug of stimcafe in hand, the woman returned to the couch and began to shuffle through the reports once again while she patiently waited for her beloved to wake.
