When running a business, Ra needed to get rid of some employees and hire new ones. Those they got rid of were always offered different positions before they were let go. Some people who applied for positions didn't work out that well. However, there were times when neither happened, and she needed to replenish her employees. That was the case this morning. Looking through the various prospects, she saw a familiar one—a man who had been in and out of her life several times over many years. At once, she called to set up an interview with him.
In her mind, she didn't even need to interview Jim and would pretty much hire him with no questions asked. However, formalities needed to be followed, and this was one of them. She could alter the rules slightly, making this far more comfortable for both. Instead of a proper interview, this would be more of a reunion and one she looked forward to.
