P E R S O N A L I T Y
Zoraya left the academy as a highly obedient agent with zealous, unwavering loyalty. She is particularly stubborn, closed-minded and unwilling to compromise the beliefs that she is convicted in. While not totally lacking empathy, she has shown herself to be particularly cold towards people and displays an exaggerated sense of worth.
She is known to be cunning, dedicated to her work and cause but after she escaped from the capture of a Sith Lord with the assistance of some Jedi, she began to grow conflicted - still believing in her cause but becoming disillusioned with the means of achieving it as she often found herself in direct conflict with the Jedi to whom she owed her life.
Though she is frequently controlling towards others, she despises when equals or subordinates are controlling of her and while uptight in her early career, she has gained a blasé attitude and is much more laid back than in the past.
Generally, she is level-headed and remains calm and collected under pressure, though she is not unreactive and can be provoked and is typically verbally aggressive towards people she dislikes unless outranked by them where she would remain respectful.

- Marksmanship: She is capable of highly accurate shooting on several types of ranged weapons.
- Adaptability: Required to fit in countless scenarios, she is knowledgeable about many cultures and has a range of skills to suit most situations, including a certain degree of proficiency in most weapons.
- Deception: Skilled in lying and manipulation, she can adapt her accent, appearance and persona to fit a variety of roles in order to gain an advantage.
- Brave: She will actively take calculated risks, though not recklessly so, and is no stranger to the horrors of war.

Born on Thustra prior to Sith Empire occupation, Zoraya lived an unremarkable life as the daughter of a farmer and was raised under her parents alongside her two older cousins. During her childhood, her town fell under the Empire's control during the sieging of the planet and while her cousins were forcibly drafted into the Sith's training ranks for their Force sensitivity after being taken from their home by soldiers.
Zoraya was spared such a fate from hiding under the floorboards while her father fought the soldiers and was shot in the process. Having emerged from her hiding place, her mother worked quickly to escape the planet and paid some evacuating smugglers for safe passage for the pair. However, as they were leaving, they were attacked but with her mother holding the soldiers off for a brief moment, Zoraya was barely able to escape the planet.
Unaware of her elder sister, Zoraya was left in the care of the smugglers who had saved her life. Only, before long the group were apprehended in Imperial space and all arrested aside from the refugee they had taken aboard who was then taken into the care of an officer who was unable to have her own children.
The shift between her lowly farm life and new life in high society was jarring but she quickly adapted and began to thrive in her new environment, joining the Imperial Academy and later being selected as showing potential for the ISB where she would continue to train until her graduation, though it was delayed by a year as punishment for participating in a fight against another student.

In her early career, she sustained a moderate head injury from Jedi
Mathieu Brion
which left a lasting impact on her both physically and mentally. She was recorded as missing for the following weeks until Imperials tracked her location to a medical centre on Telos IV where she recovered for the following months until she returned to active service, falsifying her medical records to ensure she would be eligible to work.During her first placement she worked mostly within internal affairs, completing several undercover operations which ranged from infiltrating known and suspected rebel groups to the assassination of political figures. She found it to be very isolating and her distrust of others was only heightened, no less because other Imperials didn't trust her, though she could find some solace in fellow ISB agent

even if her trust in him was limited.Following a period of capture under the unstable Sith

and the subsequent rescue operation led by a group of Jedi including

Mathieu Brion
, she became more empathetic towards Jedi and struggled with working in direct confrontation with them, torn between her Imperial ideology and morality but was soon forced to face them after she returned to active service following her rescue to find the Empire and Alliance at war.
