Gray Jedi
NAME: Zinayn
FACTION: Lilaste Order/ Diarchy
RANK: doesn't really have one
SPECIES: Chiss
AGE: 29
SEX: Male
HEIGHT: 5' 11"
WEIGHT: 170lbs
EYES: red
HAIR: blue-black
SKIN: light blue
FORCE SENSITIVE: very
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Strengths: Incredibly powerful with the Force*
intelligent like most Chiss
weakness: takes things very literally (limited understanding of sarcasm, rhetorical questions, idioms, etc.)
no empathy
*As a result of his intense training on Kashyyyk, pushing himself over his limits, there is immense strain on his body if using his full power for more than 1 minute. If going over the limit, collapse is certain.
APPEARANCE:
He wears light gray robe, and a hood often covers his face unless with allies and friends. The robe goes down to his thighs, and he wears a white jumpsuit underneath the cloak. He wears tan combat shoes, and a belt to carry a lightsaber, comm, and other stuff. When in a particularly tough battle, Zinayn will take off his cloak for drastically increased mobility. Physique-wise, Zinayn is fit, but not extremely muscular. He is rather slim, but hits still pack a punch with the help of the Force. He wears the sheath of his katana outside his robe (cause it'd look weird if it was inside). The sheath is white with small black dots adorned all over. It is supposed to represent how he isn't completely light or dark, but does tend to lean towards the light, as the majority of the case is white.
BIOGRAPHY:
Zinayn (then Garve'nay'nu) was born on Csilla and was raised by his parents on one of the few surface towns left. However, he didn't get to experience the harsh weather and life up there much, as he was soon brought to the attention of the Syndicure. The Ruling Families discovered his great potential in the Force and began to fight over which family would get the young child. Eventually, as there was no headway made, they deferred to Zinayn's parents, who eagerly gave him to the Irizi family, where they had a cousin-in-law.
The young Chiss began his Sky-Walker training almost as soon as he was adopted, and he hated every minute of it. Sit down, test, repeat. He didn't get to actually navigate a ship because of the new war that had erupted. And his parents were drafted. They died an uneventful death aboard a corvette out battling somewhere, he had heard. Or eavesdropped. He ran away a few years after at the age of 11, stealing a shuttle and jumping away as Chiss starcraft blazed after him. He made a living by breaking into homes and stealing, rarely being caught on some backwater planet further towards the Outer Rim, but still in the Unknown Regions.
Whne he turned 18, he was legally allowed to take contracts and bounties. He did so both to earn money and experience, the latter of which has helped to expand his power and skill in the Force to great levels. His favorite training spot was anywhere in the wilderness of Kashyyyk. There he honed his skills with the Force by venturing out into the foliage, leaving his lightsaber behind on the ship, and only defending himself with the Force. He pushed himself to his limits...and past them.
Realizing his power, he knew he could make a real change to the galaxy. He also was motivated by the fact that he would be a waste of space if he just let his talents rot away. As a child he'd always enjoyed philosophical questions. Whenever they were asked in the classroom, the majority of his (few) friends would roll their eyes and start playing games on a well concealed questis. However, these were the times when the Irizi boy would perk up and raise his hand high to share his view. As such he gained understanding on the sides of the Force. One way or another, it found out how to balance itself. Examples were the great Jedi Purge some 900 years back, and the eventual fall of the Sith shortly after. Why take a side when it would eventually be overthrown? The two sides would always be in a constant cycle...unless both were destroyed.
He made a home in the Lilaste Order with the High Commander Laphisto, teaching the Force users to harness their power, either dark or light. When the Order was integrated into the Diarchy, Zinayn had a deep distrust of the Sith in command of the faction. As he went on missions with them and fought back-to-back, he began to see that they might not be like the other Sith of the Sith Order. They truly had a dream of bringing balance to the galaxy. Zinayn would remain vigilant, however, as he knew even the most seemingly benevolent might be corrupted by the power they wield.
