GENERAL INFORMATION
- Name: [member=Alyva Terrix], Zilas Nakura, the Arkanian Demon
- Designation: Sentient
- Homeworld: Dathomir, created on Ryloth
- Language: Basic, Arkanian
- Average Lifespan: 60 years
- Estimated Population: Unique
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
- Breathes: Type 1
- Average height of adults: 1.72 m, 2.7 m with extra appendages
- Average length of adults: N/A
- Skin color: Purple/brown
- Hair color: Brown Chitin
- Distinctions: Rife glands have grown from her head, her skin has formed into flexible chitinous armor plates, “wings” of bone have sprouted from her back
- Races: N/A
Strengths:
- Resilient Skin: Alchemized into a chitinous armor, Alyva’s skin acts like a suit of skintight armor, protecting her from lightsaber blows and other energy weapons.
- Living Appendages: A combination of Rife Glands and the ‘wings’ on her back, Alyva can lash out at enemies with more than just her hands.
- Poison Blood: While the Sithspawn is immune to its effects, her blood has been turned to a poison similar to Quongoosh Essence, allowing her to use it in battle if necessary.
Weaknesses:
- Flexible Carapace: An alchemical armor for skin may have advantages while you’re in a fight, but in other scenarios, it’s less so. The suit leaves her struggling to feel through most of her ‘skin’, and can't be removed, no matter what.
- Extreme Heat: The armor doesn’t breathe. Extreme heat will cause dehydration and heatstroke, and perhaps even death
- Lethal Light: As an alchemical creation, Alyva is susceptible to Force Light. Concentrated bursts will kill her.
- Force Born: If Alyva were to enter a Force Neutral zone, such as that created by a Ysalmari, it would weaken the alchemy used to create her armoured skin. Inside such a field, her skin provides little protection from a lightsaber strike or blaster bolt.
- Kinetics: While her skin can ward off energy weapons and lightsabers, it doesn't fare as well against kinetics and piercing weapons, like slugthrowers.
CULTURE
- Diet: Standard near-human diet, with one exception: Due to the Rife Glands used in her construction, Alyva is highly allergic to sparkbee honey
- Communication: Speech (Basic and Arkanian)
- Technology level: Standard Galaxy Level
- Religion/Beliefs: Having adopted an almost Sith-like belief in power and evolution, Alyva holds that one must evolve to become stronger than those around them, or die. Those who cannot keep up don't deserve to live.
- General behavior: An orphaned mercenary who has seen some of the worst of the field, Alyva has become a woman who thirsts for power. The process of alchemy may have changed her perspectives, but whatever the reasons, she now holds the belief that strength and the ability to survive is everything. Power should be obtained by any means necessary. To survive, we must evolve. Those that cannot adapt are doomed to die. She holds little dear, save for her fellow Mandragora and the beasts she creates herself.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Desperation can change a person. Alchemy can change them more.
Once, Alyva Terrix was a mercenary, just another one of many who had joined the Confederate Military. Once, she was a soldier like any other. But war has a cost, and she almost paid the ultimate price. But something saved her. Something stopped her from going over the edge of the abyss. The Force awoke within her, preserving her. The damage done, however, was monstrous. A sealed body suit was all that kept her alive. The spark in her had caught the Mandragora’s attention, and a potential sister would not be left to die.
Not while she could still be saved.
They fixed her, cured her, changed her in the Waters of Life. But it was not enough. She wanted to be more. So, in the end, Lady Psyona was allowed to work on her. Alchemy is not pleasant to the victim, equatable to torture. The damage done in the process may have helped shape her outlook on life. Or maybe it always was.
Alyva, or Zilas Nakura as her creator has named her, is by no means a perfect or masterful creation. Lady Psyona is far better at the inorganic side of alchemy, and as such, beyond a set of extra limbs, poisonous blood, and a saber-proof hide, there is little here to impress someone better at the art. But that doesn’t matter here. Alyva wanted more than simply being healed. And she got it.
