The ZI-S319 Heuristic Processor is considered far advanced compared to basic processors, allowing the droid to have logic and reason. There is usually a slot near the droid's cognitive module which should perfectly fit this processor. Droids like the infamous 4-LOM have Heuristic Processors and kill without being programmed to, that is why Zayne Industries included a safety program inside the processor which limits its capability to think of harming others. Depending on how the droid reacts, if this processor is in an EMP or ion blast the processor may short out and must be replaced.
