Product Information

Modularity:
The Zevronce-Class armor is highly customizable in order to accommodate the many hats that Ession Peacekeepers wear. Armor plates can be removed/added to the base gear (assuming that they are plates specifically manufactured for the set). The armor can be completely stripped down to just the body suit underneath if the situation calls for it. Here are a few examples of how the armor could be modified (though these are just examples and certainly not the extent of the possibilities).

- Civil Protection Gear (Police) -
As it is common for the Peacekeepers to act as a civilian police force, the armor can be stripped down to simply a chest plate, utility belt, boots and communications equipment. While this is not the extent of the customization for this particular job, it is a popular loadout.

- Humanitarian Aid -
In the case that peacekeepers are sent on humanitarian aid operations, they can replace plates and other components with extra first aid capacity if they so wish. Of course, this would lower the armor's base defense quality.

Description

The Peacekeeper armor was developed by Stargo Defensive Enterprises to be the most advanced suit of armor currently on the battlefield. Due to the many hats worn by the Ession Reformation's Peacekeepers, the armor needed to be fit for combat but highly customizable. This gave the design team at SDE two options that they could play with to make the best possible suit of armor for the Ession Reformation. They could make an extremely heavy armor capable of high-capacity loadouts with an extreme sacrifice to mobility, or they could create a weaker armor that made up for its weaknesses with advanced technology. In true SDE fashion, they chose the latter.

Bodyglove

The strengths of this armor lie in its many technological aspects, favoring good tech over raw defense. The first layer of technology is found in the bodyglove uniform underneath the armor. This bodyglove possesses an external temperature gauge and environment system that heat and cool the outside of the glove and armor in accordance to the surrounding temperatures. This allows the user to become practically invisible to heat and thermal scanners, though not disguising them from somebody simply looking out a window.

Not hiding the soldiers from line-of-sight view is just one drawback, however. The other systems of the armor can still give away the wearer's position through their heat signatures, this means that in order to successfully utilize the bodyglove the soldier must deactivate all other technologies on the armor. This includes all helmet systems, shield systems, gloves and boots.

Power Gloves & Repulsor Boots

The power gloves utilized in this armor system are arguably some of the most powerful on the market. Unlike crushgaunts and Imperial Stormtrooper power gloves, GenoHaradan Power gloves utilize repulsorlift technology. These gloves assist the wearer by expelling short, violent bursts of rupulsorlift energies that quicken movement and provide tremendous strength. While lacking the utter crushing ability of the Mandolorian Crushgaunt, these gloves would easily allow a wearer to thrown an opponent across distances multiple times his own length or simply crush his throat. They are, however, just as useful in civil service and humanitarian operations. As the strength of the wearer is greatly increased, they can move crates, subdue suspects or pick-up medical patients with retaliative ease. The gloves, however, were an immense drain on the power source and extended use can cause shorts of other systems or complete draining of the power cell.

The Repulsor boots operate on a separate system from the Power Gloves. These boots allow for the wearers to hover themselves a half-meter in the air or boost-jump themselves across distances multiple times their own length. This allows the user to climb higher and jump further, allowing them a lot more options whether on a battlefield or the mean streets of the city. These boots are not without their weaknesses though. Aside from being limited to a half-meter hover or a quick boosted jump, these boots cannot be used in conjunction with the power gloves. This is not to say that a soldier cannot use both on the same battlefield, but simultaneous use of both systems at the same time will cause an immediate short circuit of either the boots or the gloves. There were many attempts to correct this shortage, but the fact of the matter was that with the desired powercell system there was no possible way to maintain both systems simultaneously. This led to a safeguard being put in-place in which a user cannot power the gloves or boots directly after a hover/jump or use of the gloves. A minimum five-second ready time is mandatory between the transition of boots to gloves or vice-versa.

Helmet, Datapad & Military Mobility Shield
The helmet of the armor system allows for limited environment and blaster protection while still allowing for a more than decent HUD system. In terms of environment protection, the helmet can be air sealed and has a replaceable thirty-minute air supply that is limited only by the amount of canisters the soldier carriers (usually within a three canister maximum unless significant armor quality or ammo capacity sacrifices are made). The HUD system allows the user to connect to tactical battlenets and secure government servers to receive constant battlefield updates, mission objectives, real time maps and squad positions. It also allows for a ten meter motion detector and a visual representation of screens and databases the gauntlet mounted database is connected to. A security measure is present within the helmet's systems that require the repetition of a security code to gain access to the encrypted and classified networks (like the battle situation and communications) anytime the helmet is removed and placed back on.
The datapad allows for the user to connect to public networks, security consoles and other wireless devices without risking security breach through their helmet's encrypted systems. This pad, however, does not have the capacity to replace operating systems the helmet utilizes. This means, if the helmet of the user is damaged, the datapad cannot be utilized to receive the classified information available through the HUD. Unlike the helmet, the datapad runs on its own power source and can be removed from the armor at leisure.
The Military Mobility Shield is one of the most useful pieces of technology on the armor set. This shield, which too runs on its own powercell source, can absorb and displace up to fifty Heavy Blaster rounds and up to one hundred light blaster rounds. This is useful to a soldier wearing this armor as the plates and bodyglove alone do not provide immense protection from energy based attacks. The drawback of this shield system, however, is that it cannot deflect rounds from sonic weaponry nor rounds from slugthrowers or melee attacks. It is also worth noting that after this fifty round limit, the powercell is burned out and must be replaced by using specialized tools. This can be dangerous on a battlefield as even a practiced soldier cannot replace the cell in under a minute.

Armor Plates & Attack Resistance
The Matrix Material of the armor is the most durable, but also most heavy, of the components. These plates are separated into different pieces that are not welded into a single piece. This allows the user to have more freedom of movement with the sacrifice of a wider area of protection. As you can see by the picture; the elbows and part of the forearms are exposed and open to blaster fire. Not seen in the photo is that the neck, calves, armpits and parts of the inner thigh are also exposed to weapons fire. However, the parts that are not exposed are well insulated from all types of attacks (including sonic and slugthrowers).

Good submission for high-tech, rugged Quality 5 armor. It's technologically advanced for the modern warrior yet it suffers the drawback of being vulnerable in critical areas to explosives and many other areas with slugs. Looks good to me.
