DESCRIPTION
The ZEUS AI is a further development based on the KRONOS AAII, it is created with the intent to use the research and data gathered since the activation and use of the KRONOS prototype in order to make a functional droid brain capable of making decisions on its own without the added danger of having a superiority complex or the dangers of the personality imprint which plagued the KRONOS program. The ZEUS AI modules and droid brains allow for a variety of uses in both military and civil application and are therefore a valuable product in the Nargath Holding's catalogue and further product development.
Strengths:
- Multifunctional: As it is both an droid brain and an AI, it is able to function solely in its core form, but also as part of a unit when installed in droids or as a guide aboard ships, allowing for a multitude of applications.
- Hivemind: As it has the capacity to link up with a multitude of cores and AI's of the same lineage within a range of a hundred kilometers, it also allows for higher processing capacity of available information it would not be capable or otherwise hard pressed to do solely on its own. A trait which can be seen as highly valuable in a variety of fields.
Weaknesses:
- Electrics: In the end ZEUS is still an electrical machine, thus can be shut down and perhaps even damaged by large enough quantities of high voltage electricity, but also forms of EMP and demagnetization.
- Hivemind range: though it is able to connect with various other ZEUS or KRONOS AI, it can only do so within the limited range of a hundred kilometers, so outside of this range they are unable to link together or transfer information without an external form of communication.
