BIO:
Zelroga is the executive chef at the up-and-coming restaurant Kalipher's in Coruscant. He was born on the remote planet of Batuu where his earliest memories were helping his mother and grandmother at their tatty food stall selling catfish stew. As a young man he was desperate to escape poverty and make a name for himself --he dreamed of making it big in great capital of Coruscant. After months of trying and hitch-hiking with smugglers, paying his way by cooking for them, he got there.
When Zelroga got to Coruscant he found himself having to literally work his way up to the top. He has worked in various grubby cantinas in the lower sectors and even on a hot-snack stall in the Uscru Entertainment Disctrict. From lowly droid and pot-scrubber and then up to his last post, Deputy chef at the Galaxies Opera House's restaurant, he's done it all. After being 'discovered' he's having his chance at being an executive chef and living the dream.
Zelroga knows he can come off as prickly, but he doesn't care -- what he cares about is doing things properly and good food. He is grateful in his own ways to those who have helped him on his culinary journey. His restaurant, Kalipher's, is named after the first smuggler to give him a lift.
He is rumoured to be the only chef this side of the galaxy to make hubba gourds taste good to humans.
His signature dish is the Coruscant Crown -- Shaak steak with topato reduction and flash-fried spiced zuchii.
APPEARANCE:
Zelroga is sturdy for a twi' lek. He loves to eat, but knows that appearances matter so he makes sure get his exercise. He has a couple of burns on the backs of his hands, as is to be expected after a lifetime as a chef. He has a steely demeanor; he is often found standing with his arms crossed if he's not otherwise frantically filling orders and checking every dish going out the serving hatch. Working early til late, he's wearing his white tunic uniform and smart black boots.

COMBAT:
Zelroga isn't one for fighting, but the smugglers who took him over to Coruscant showed him how to use a blaster. He keeps one in his work bag -- he came across all sorts of scary sorts down in the lower sectors whilst selling nerf kebabs and learned you can't be too careful when serving food to strangers.
