Friends on the Other Side: There’s just something about Zaz’s inherent charm that draws people to him. He’s a self-proclaimed collector of all things, people included. It’s not unreasonable to expect he has an in to an obscene number of areas, and a person for almost any situation.
A Story with Options: How exactly Zaz came to be isn’t something that’s been pinned down. One fellow claims they heard Lux himself spinning a moving tale how he was separated from his family at birth. Another fellow heard his father was in with the crime lords. Needless to say, he’s a mystery with no real intention of being solved.
Lover Before Fighter: Zaz is one to enjoy the embrace of another over that of a blade. Call it a flaw, if you must, but this socialite would much rather pour drinks than spill blood.
Never Give a Story for Free: As an avid fan of what’s fun and interesting, Zaz is no stranger to paying a hefty price that’d hardly seem worth the payoff. On the other hand, Zaz is a businessman to the core. Traditional coin means little to one who seemingly has it all. The Collector deals almost entirely in barter, trinkets of both the physical and immaterial being valid items of exchange.
If We Shadows Have Offended: Far from all he says he is, Zaz’s true identity and power are hitherto unknown. What is certain, however, is that beyond that Devil-may-care disposition, there’s an entity teeming with power and an odd fascination with the common folk. The laws of hospitality reign supreme in the Collector's eyes. While one is his guest, they are under his swift protection. The Force help those who are inhospitable.
APPEARANCE.
A man of bright colors and questionable tastes, subtlety is not a word in Zazrael’s vocabulary, nor his closet. As if his lavender personhood and horns didn’t stick out enough, his clothes are but an extension of his personality - vibrant, ostentatious, and outlandish in nearly every setting. He might be considered attractive if one finds such vibrancy appealing. He certainly does. While his clothes appear extremely well cared for, his actual person is anything but. Much of his arms have been taken up by colorful tattoos, with whatever’s left of his arms and torso marred by various scars. As if vibrant cloth wasn’t extravagant enough, Zaz also sports a baffling amount of rings, amulets, and bracelets on his person. Some are alchemized, others enchanted. Still, others have nothing special about them beyond being just gaudy enough to merit the man’s favor.
LOYALTY.
While his business may suggest he is loyal to himself alone, the Collector is actually quite the devout man. Be it a personal history yet to be revealed or just sheer belief, he is a reverent follower of The Ones.
