SPECIAL FEATURES

• Vambraces made from a tydirium-phrikite alloy (I am too proud to call it phrik) and equipped with personal energy shielding technology allow them to block strikes made with a lightsaber.

WEAKNESSES

• Break An Arm: It must seem very cool that you are able to block a lightsaber with your arm while wearing this, but do keep in mind that if they hit you hard enough it could very well break your arm.
• Hands and Shoulders: Since these are vambraces, your hands and anything above the elbow are left unprotected. In fact, the entire rest of your body is unprotected, too.

DESCRIPTION
A really long time ago, during the Mandalorian Wars, a Jedi Padawan named Zayne Carrick wound up on the run after he witnessed a bunch of Jedi Masters (including his own) slaughtering their Padawans in a misguided attempt to prevent a prophesied Sith Lord from coming to power. Zayne eventually met up with a couple of Arkanian Offshoots named Camper and Jarael. Camper was a scientist/inventor, and he's the one who devised these sexy vambraces for Zayne. They saved Zayne's life when he had to duel against his master without a lightsaber, it was pretty cool.

Anyway, the vambraces got passed down through the ages, handled by people who had no idea of their history (notably, they were never put in a museum or vault) and probably should have been disassembled at some point, but by some miracle they survived intact and eventually were discovered by Nimdok (with the help of Moondog's psychometry) in a very old, very cluttered pawn shop. Typical.
