STRENGTHS
Combat prowess - He is skilled in both hand to hand combat, and lightsaber usage. His lightsaber form seems to draw primarily on Form VI, as it seems to incorporate all other forms into it. Unlike the base Form VI, however, Zarus adapted more elements from forms II and VII.
Force mastery - He studied both the light and dark, making him more formidable in uses of the force. He is powerful in his own right, and more well-rounded than those who restrict themselves to the light or dark of the force.
WEAKNESSES
Isolated - His philosophy and his actions often alienate him from potential connections and support from either the jedi or sith. His mannerisms also contribute to this, leaving him unable to make long-term allies of many people.
Impulsive - Zarus lives by his instincts and urges, loving the feeling of doing what he desires. However, this can result in him making rash decisions without any thought to long-term consequences.

BACKGROUND
Zarus Valorian was born on Dantooine. Growing up, he was naturally attuned to the force and was discovered by a wandering Jedi Knight who recognised his potential. Zarus was taken to the Jedi Temple on Corusant for training.
During his training, Zarus excelled in both lightsaber combat and the use of the force, showing remarkable ta;ent. However, as he grew older, he often questioned the strict adherence to the Jedi Code, feeling it was more of a limitation than a guide. This way of thinking led to him studying the Sith as well, albeit secretly.
As he grew up, he became ever increasingly disillusioned with both the Jedi, and later Sith philosophies. He began to believe that true mastery of the force required freedom from the constraints of both rigid codes, and morals themselves. He argued that both the Jedi and Sith were weakened by their adherence to their respective doctrines.
PHILOSOPHY
Zarus' belieg system is centred around the idea that those with the force should not be confined by codes or ethics. To him, the Jedi are too passive, and the SIth are too destructive. He sees their codes simple existence to be limiting both Orders from the force's full potential. Zarus sees the force merely as a tool; a tool that those who have access to it, should be free to do as they please, without binding themselves to morals or ideals. While it may seem to be a very sith-like mindset, Zarus sees the Sith as flawed because they claim the force is needed to free them, rather than them using the force to free them. To the sith, the force is the ultimate power, to him, it is the ultimate tool and path to power.
Zarus does not care for concepts of good and evil, seeing them as artificial constructs that limit freedom. Instead, he believes one should live according to their instincts and desires, unburdened by other people's lives and opinions. He views life as moments that need to be seized. The future doesn't matter, the power and strength, and how you use it in the present are all that matters.
PERSONALITY
Zarus is charismatic and persuasive, often able to sway others to his thinking, though his lack of morality can put others off of him. Contrary to this, he is fiercely independent, and values freedom above all else; both physical and mental freedom. He lives by his own instincts and desires, disregarding traditional notions of right and wrong. His actions are driven by the pursuit of personal power and satisfaction, with little regard for the consequences on others or the galaxy as a whole.
Despite his apparent lack of morality, he is not inherently malicious. He sees his path as a natural evolution of the force, believing that those who are strong shouldn't cater to the weak, but satisfy themselves and their own desires. His worldview puts him at odds with both the Jedi and Sith, who see him as a dangerous and unpredictable individual.
