Zark is a veteran Jedi Master from the Outer Rim Territories and retired military commander. He currently sits on the Council where he guides other Jedi on their path to defend the innocent.

Master San Tekka served for many years as a strategist in campaigns against both Sith and Imperial powers. He is a practitioner of Shien and Djem So single blade lightsaber combat however the Jedi's true mastery lies in the esoteric art of battle meditation.

His spiritual beliefs are traditional by Jedi standards. Because of Zark's experiences during the Sith crusades he avoids personal connections and emotional attachment. By embracing logic, the Jedi Master maintains a greater measure of control over his suppressed feelings.

Strong with the Force, even as a Knight he could manipulate his surroundings with powerful telekinesis. Over time he learned to use this gift to bolster his own strength and resolve. Yet in other ways he lacks natural talent. Never blessed with an aptitude for the healing arts, Zark also struggles to commune with nature.

On his own time Master San Tekka ponders the fundamental nature of the Force. He holds a scholarly interest in vergences and kyber crystals.​

BIOGRAPHY

Born in the Outer Rim, Zark is descended from an affluent dynasty of hyperspace prospectors. He was either given to or taken by the Jedi at a very young age. His earliest memories are of his master, a krevaaki Jedi named Xylon Hexyra. Padawan training began on Jedha and concluded many years later on Coruscant.

As a young Knight his master was slain in the Clockwork Rebellion and he swore the Barash Vow. Years later during the Netherworld Crisis he was earning credits as privateer captain of the Hammerhead corvette Arcadia. Drawn into resistance against the One Sith Empire, Captain San Tekka was granted a battlefield commission by the Galactic Alliance Defense Force shortly after the liberation of Coruscant.

Enduring years of war with the First Order and significant attrition the Defense Fleet promotes Zark to Commodore then Vice Admiral. Declared missing in action presumed dead after a fierce battle defending the southern hyperlanes, he resurfaces nearly a decade later on Korriban when an imprisoned San Tekka is rescued from Sith-Imperial custody. He joins the New Jedi Order on their crusade and for a time serves as a Jedi General, fighting alongside Alliance marines at Ziost and other pivotal battles.

Retires from active service after the fall of Dromund Kaas to accept a position on the Jedi Council. Begins to take a more active role in training padawans during the early Maw campaigns. Commanded defense of the Jedi Temple ruins on Tython during the siege. Wounded in battle, Master San Tekka rejoins Alliance forces during the final push to Exegol. Storms the Forbidden City but is forced to evacuate when a ritual to purify the entire world goes wrong.

Captured by Koda Fett during the temple's destruction on Coruscant but escapes offworld. Last seen commanding the defense of Atrisia.​

Despite suffering terrible loss Zark still retains his Council position and is currently overseeing the prosecution of Mid Rim peacekeeping efforts.​
