Her parents were station technicians who supplemented their work with logistics support for nearby installations.From an early age, Zareen displayed signs of Force sensitivity. Hoping to give her a safer future, her parents brought her for testing. She spent several years in early Jedi training, learning discipline and restraint. During this time, she formed a close bond with another student who later fell to the Dark Side.
Disillusioned and shaken, Zareen left the Academy and returned home.
Not long after, a pirate raid on a nearby crystal mining operation claimed several members of her extended family, including her parents. She returned to find her home abandoned and stripped bare.
Instead of retreating inward, Zareen resolved that no one under her protection would ever feel alone again.
Still a teenager, she survived through odd jobs and temporary work. Recognizing that she needed stability, she enrolled in a military academy, paying her way through labor contracts and personal sacrifice.
After graduation, she enlisted.
Her military career was defined by quiet competence and concern for her squadmates. She specialized in armored operations, urban security, and high-risk escort missions. She became known as the soldier who checked on everyone after firefights and made sure the wounded were never forgotten.
