Intelligence: Zanthos contains genius level intellect thanks to his caste role as a Priest and his studies of ancient Rakatan technology and history of the galaxy.

Natural Warrior: The Rakatan species are naturally gifted in the arts of war and fighting. This particular member of Rakatan nobility was gifted with brawn as well as brains, being both an excellent warrior and an outstanding scholar, something he used to his advantage to unite the scattered tribes of his people.

Superiority: Zanthos is a firm believer in the ideals of Rakatan supremacy. In fact, it is his goal to see the long dead Infinite Empire rise to power yet again, albeit in a smaller scale. He generally looks down upon other species, seeing them as inferior and worthy of subjugation.

The Burden: Zanthos sees it as an absolute priority to restore the Rakatan species connection to the Force, putting all other wants and needs behind this goal so his race could access the ancient technology that his ancestors used to rule the galaxy a long time ago...

APPEARANCE:
A tall, lean, red-skinned Rakata, The Snake is a prime example of the ideal member of his species. Strong, yet balanced and poised on his clawed hands and feet, his physiology is amphibian in origin, yet reptilian in nature. Often wearing the gilded, white robes of the Priest caste, Zanthos has also adorned himself with a jewel encrusted crown, fit for the king of a soon to be vast and noble empire.

BIOGRAPHY:
A noble of the Priest caste of Makatak, Zanthos was raised as a scholar, learning the ancient ways of his ancestors and the technologies they used while also reading of the history of the great Infinite Empire. Spurred on by stories of Rakatan warriors conquering the galaxy, he began to make his way up the political food chain, earning him the title of 'The Snake' for his shrewdness and lack of mercy shown in the courts of the crown.

Seeking to unify the other disbanded and barbaric tribes of Rakatan in the region, Zanthos held a bloody coup, preaching that he would restore the power that the mighty Infinite Empire once held. The last king, a wise, but secluded one, was dethroned, and The Snake rose into his place.

Zanthos set to work quickly. Barbarous tribes were brought back into the fold, uniting the Priest and Warrior castes for a greater good. His planet now intact and stabilized, the King of Makatak has set his eyes on further boundaries, all while seeking a way to reconnect his people back to the Force, an effect of a plague that had struck the Builders eons and eons ago.

(Edit: I understand Rakatan Technology is banned, but I was thinking more knowledge and information and perhaps very primitive items...
Besides, most of the really powerful stuff requires Force usage, something that isn't possible in our race anymore.)
