Ship concierge workers were ordered to remain in their crew cabins, technicians were to remain in their stations below deck and the cockpit was locked down for security reasons. The luxuriously appointed ship and it's hallway that led from the ship's airlock to all points of the current level, upper deck, which housed the guest suites, Arya's suite, the starboard and port observation areas, the central chamber and the entrance to the dining hall/meeting hall and entryway the stairway that led to the lower decks were in locked down with blast doors. The lower level staircase that led to the engine rooms, the medical bay, hangar bays and the ballroom was closed off as well. Arya wasn't taking any chances with strangers entering her vessel. The only room that hadn't been locked down was Nixara's room and the meeting hall.
Arya noted the hallway exchange on the holoterminal in the meeting hall. She stared at the security cam shot of that part of the hall. Across the intercom to that section, Arya ordered, "State your business and surrender your weaponry to my guards. I will not deal with troublemakers coming aboard my vessel."
Arisa entered a code to temporarily override the lock down order and exit the central chamber. She quickly entered the meeting room once more to inform Arya of the response from HK-36. She was greeted by Arya's gaze upon the holoterminal. Arya's gaze shifted to Arisa with a tired, weak demeanor, "What's the latest, Arisa? Please tell me, you've some good news for me."
Arisa's tense demeanor softened at the idea that she would be able to appease Arya's need for good news. "Yes, Madame Cognito, I have some good news for you. HK-36 has agreed to meet with you. However, the meeting place was requested to be aboard his vessel. I realize you do not care to enter into strange, almost hostile vessels unless necessary, but these guys mean business and a slip-up with them would mean---"
"I know what it would mean, Arisa! Just because I left you primarily in charge of my affairs doesn't mean that I have forgotten how faction related galactic territory issues work!" Arya snapped back. Arya was growing weary of the day. She did not truly mean to be so cruel to her assistant.
"I understand, Madame Cognito. I didn't mean to imply..." Arisa stated hanging her to avoid eye contact with her boss.
"I know you didn't mean to, Arisa. I apologize for snapping. Just dealing with a lot of stress, you know with my factory being defunct for god knows how long and possibly hemorrhaging money. I'm trying to make my assistance worthwhile to the Zann Consortium, but issues like that throw a kink in the matter." Arya stated with a heavy sigh and her gaze returning to the terminal.
"I shall help you any way I can, Madame Cognito." Arisa said bowing her head.
"There is a way to help right now. When I finish with this Abregado-rae business no matter the outcome, I would like to take on a bounty. Can you get in touch with one of my new Consortium mates to set that up for me while I am dealing with all of this mess? A nice hunting trip would do me wonders in clearing my head." Arya said with a halfsmile as her gaze remained on the terminal.
"Of course I can do that for you, Madame Cognito." Arisa said remaining at her side in order to help Arya with the strange newcomer on her vessel. She had her comlink at the ready to relay orders in case this encounter went south.
