PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Zan is a standard Nautolan with green-colored skin with dark stripes on his many tendrils atop his head. Like many of the nautolan species, Zan has large black eyes.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Zan is a product of the jedi academy. He is an intellignet, well-trained and yet still just a young man. He can be rash and cocky at times when his jedi training escapes his mind. Since he's on his final year of training, and faced with either being sent to the fields if without a master, he's on his best behavior to find the jedi that is willing to take him.
STRENGTHS
Agile - Through his years of learning how to become a jedi, there was alot of focus on lightsaber practice and so he has become especially agile and capable for his age!
Adaptive - Being that he is a Nautolan, he can succeed in any environment he is put in. Being amphibious, and with his evolved eyes, one would be hard-pressed to hide in the shadows against the force-sensitive. Nevertheless, since he wasn't raised with his own, he could use some tutelage in how best to utilize his racial gifts.
WEAKNESSES
Fear - He's an untested young man who has not yet seen the trials that a padawan can potentially endure while also being at the age where its either be picked or never become a jedi.
The Force - He's a novice force user, and while he can use it to a degree, he has much work that needs to be done in learning and becoming more proficient in connecting to the force.
HISTORY
There are picture-memories that lay dormant within the recesses of this boy's mind. Pictures that held memories of when he was a toddler with his parents on his home planet. They were vague and clouded, mostly removed after the jedi temple being the only home he ever knew. Zan was picked up the jedi within two or three years after his birth, once his force sensitivity was uncovered it was not long before they arrived. His parents were proud, but also apprehensive, before eventually allowing the jedi to take the child and bring him into their dominion.
His early life was like that of any other jedi youngling. He was taught the ways of the force, with the jedi code being a core principle in everything they did. The Nautolan spent a longer-than-average amount of time taking in the information and was typically cast into the middle of the class in terms of skill and advancement.
In time, younglings were picked up by masters. They competed and sparred, showing the masters that came in that they had merit for training and becoming padawans. Zan had gone years within this process to no avail. At fourteen years old, he was notified that this was the final year he'd have an opportunity to find a master. Fearing that he would end in the fields working with plants, he pushed his training into overdrive so that the next time a master came around, he would impress them.
