SPECIAL FEATURES
- Hive mind programming - This droid will only work when connected to a central droid computer or some other form of system capable of managing it
- Facial recognition programming - Capable of recognizing individuals on a pre-registered database
- Packing a punch - Large array of weaponry capable of taking down numerous types of enemies
- Defensive - Capable of protecting structures or itself with its DMPCA
- Large - Very easy to hit target
- Shutting down - Should the central droid computer be shut down, so will this droid#
- Vulnerable to Ion/EMP weaponry
- Noisy - Very noisy, basically incapable of doing anything 'under the radar'
- DMPCA - When this feature is in use, the Z1-CAD is incapable of using any of its weapon systems. Along with this, the Z1-CAD will always be vulnerable at its sides and behind, due to it being placed at the front. Finally, the DMPCA is prone to being overloaded with power from heavier weaponry, so using it to try and protect against heavy energy weapons may overload the system and cause it to be unusable for a period of time.
The Z1-Calamity Assault Droid is the sister model to IMF's Z2-MCD but in a much larger, heavier and more potent form. The larger reactor enables its systems to be more powerful, reducing the weakness of its sister model requiring to slow its movement speed to a near-halt while firing, however it still can only open fire or activate its point defense systems when the other is deactivated.
To some, size doesn't matter, but the sheer mass of this droid means it is very noticeable and is an easy to hit target in a combat situation. Much like its name suggests, 'Calamity' will ensue when this is destroyed, and sometimes, it may be better for the opposing force simply to cripple one of its legs and force it to crush surrounding allies. Finally, similar to all other IMF products, the Z1-Calamity Assault Droid requires a central droid computer to operate, which reduces manufacturing costs but it will always shut down whenever the connection is severed.
