OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Dagobah Shipyards
  • Model: Z-C3 Hyperdrive
  • Affiliation: Closed-Market; Company Name: Dagobah Shipyards
  • Modularity: No
  • Production: Mass-Produced
  • Material: Duraplast
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • All mentioned below.
Strengths:
  • 0.31415% increase in travel time
  • Faster recharge rate than an average hyperdrive
  • Can be tied in with another hyperdrive to fasten travel time again.
Weaknesses:
  • Is very large and bulky, meaning less space for other things
  • Additional power requirement chews a lot; if someone were to take out even a portion of the power, there would be no way the ship could go into hyperspace
  • Generates a fair amount of heat, not adequate cooling will result in overheating, and a meltdown of the drive.
DESCRIPTION
It is a very loud and very large hyperdrive, and although it is a bit more of a costly option; it does, however, decrease the time it takes to perform a jump by some amount. It was a design conceived by Lokthra and her father during their latest design briefing. This design consumes almost 2 times the average power of a standard hyperdrive, the speed increase is estimated to be about a 0.31415% increase. The key to making this design so effective is the dual use of duraplast as a means to conduct energy as well as an aid to negate the additional heat generator aside the conventional means.
