SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Integrated Re-breather Unit: The helmet contains a re-breather / life support unit that allows the user to operate in multiple environments that don't obtain a breathable or safe atmosphere
  • Integrated Low-Visibility Optics: The helmet also contains a low-visibility optic system that allows the users to see in low-light or low-visibility environments.
  • Vacuum Rated: Intended for use in hostile environments, the Z-A2 is completely sealable and can be used in vacuum, or in highly toxic environments. This has the side effect that it also protects the wearer against chemical weapons which make use of corrosive agents, or toxic gas.
  • HVA (Holographic Visual Assistant): As part of the whole armour system the helmet and electronic system on the lower left arm both operate as one creating a fluid system that helps the user determine necessary information when required such as navigation, ammunition counts, messages, emergency signals and more
  • Phrik-Steel: Phrik-Steel is used in minimal amounts on this armour system due to the price and difficulty of obtaining it therefore only acts as four small-sized panels covering the chest of the user.
  • High Density Energy Dissipation (Armour)Weave: The armour weave is high-density as most of the metallic armour only covers essential body parts leaving the rest of the body exposed. The armourweave is woven with Linen, to reduce costs, which sits underneath any metallic armour.
  • Exoskeleton System: The exoskeleton allows the user to gain minimal strength boosts. This could be used, for example, when the user wishes to climb a wall but doesn't have the necessary strength to do so, the exoskeleton will provide assistance in this situation.
  • Duralumin Footwear: The metallic boots are made of Duralumin and are commonly known as "Shock Boots", this is because they absorb impact when kicking doors or anything alike down.
Strengths:
  • High-Density Armour: The armour system offers very good protection against a wide range of weaponry making the wearer to take down, however there are some drawbacks (See "Armour Plating" & "Armour Clanking (Noise)").
  • Flexibility: Due to the armour plated, as mentioned in "Armour Plating", the user is granted increased flexibility allowing freedom of movement during combat scenarios and general use.
  • Enhanced Visibility: The inbuilt HVA system within the helmet allows the user to see in low-visibility environments and, as a bonus, obtain visual SITREPs from within the helmet.
Weaknesses:
  • EMP/ION/Electronical Attacks: Due to the amount of electronic systems within the system, it is highly susceptible to EMP/ION/Electronical attacks. An attack of this type could wipe out the users visibility completely due to the electronic interface within the helmet. Alongside deactivating the entire HVA and exoskeleton system.
  • Armour Plating: Because of cost effectiveness and the ability to maintain flexibility and ease of movement in combat the armour has to be attached in plates meaning that all of the users person cannot be covered with armour. The armour only covers the following:
    Chest
  • Shoulders
  • Head
  • Neck
  • Waist
  • Hands
  • Lower Leg = Knees to Feet

This leaves a fair amount of space vulnerable to kinetic attacks considering that the areas that aren't covered within the armour are protected by a high-density armourweave under-armour which only protects against blaster and, slightly, lightsabers.
  • Lightsabers: If attacked by a lightsaber there is little protection standing in the way apart from the 4 small plates covering the chest area and the minuscule protection offered by the armourweave, rendering the armour "not that effective against Lightsabers".
  • Armour Clanking (Noise): Because of the plate system of the metal plates they often bang into each other causing a slight noise rendering stealth, most of the time, an un-viable option. The exoskeleton, when activated, also produces noise due to the hydraulics within.

DESCRIPTION
Designed as an armour system for Zoe and her companion, Renko, it was built around their profession of bounty hunting, privateering and mercenary work allowing a strong but flexible system to take on a multitude of tasks.

The armour system features extended electronic systems with metallic plating that offers protection against kinetic and, ever so slightly, lightsaber attacks followed by a high-density armourweave underneath that dissipates blaster attacks effectively. The armourweave is stitched with linen and only covers the areas where the armour doesn't meaning if the armour is removed it will cause a massive vulnerability area. The metallic parts of the armour are used as plating and offer excellent protection against kinetic and some blaster attacks and the 4 small plates of Phrik offer excellent protection against lightsaber attacks.

The extensive electronic systems within the armour system play a major part in the operation of the unit as a whole and allow the user to complete a multitude of tasks. The electronics control the users ability to see though the shielded helmet and to use all of the onboard features as described in "SPECIAL FEATURES". However, as many advantages this system gives it also has massive drawbacks when it comes to electronic/electrical/ION/EMP attacks rendering the entire onboard electronic systems and the exoskeleton useless, forcing the user to remove their helmet. As another feature the helmet has integrated a life support system which allows the wearer to breath in any environment including vacuum.
