  • [+] Blood-Poison: Powdered Devaronian blood-poison was included in the creation of the Wretched Blade. Merely touching the blade's edge causes immense pain, so being sliced or stabbed with the Zûtarudni will result in unendurable pain and includes the possibility of of the jewel's infamous toxins entering the opponent's bloodstream.
Weaknesses:
  • [-] Heavy: While of fairly average length compared to other bladed weapons in the galaxy, the higher weight of the Wretched Blade is a byproduct of the alchemical process it went through.
  • [-] Darkside Presence: It's eternal. Other Force users can detect the presence of this blade quite easily, so there's no way for Dakil to be stealthy with this bad boy.
  • [-] The Typicals: The Wretched Blade also has your usual weaknesses to direct applications of the light side (Force Light) and neutralizing objects such as Ysalamiri and Voidstone.
DESCRIPTION

The Zûtarudni Asminys, which is Wretched Blade in High Sith, is the first and foremost alchemical creation of Dakil the Destitute. Forging his first blade was an immediate task he set his eyes on upon entering the ranks of the Sith Empire and saw it fit to make it something worthwhile and useful for the rest of his despicable career.

So he personalized it a little bit with the addition of Devaronion blood-poison. A jewel, that when powdered, could be introduced into the forging process to give the blade's edge a distinct trait to it: suffering. Merely touching the blade's edge will result in excruciating pain, and being wounded by it will end in lasting, debilitating suffering. If the blade manages to cut and come in contact with an opponent's bloodstream, there's also a chance of its infamous neurotoxin being introduced.

Along with its unique ability come the staple traits all Sith swords possess. Extreme resistance, re-channeling of Force lightning, an edge that never dulls.

However, all of these come with a drawback. First is the heavy weight of the seemingly sleek and nimble blade, which will result in great fatigue if used for extended durations. The second is the mere fact that its been infused with dark side energies - these will eternally radiate from the blade until its destruction, which means that all Force sensitive beings can locate Dakil based on the presence of the Wretched Blade.

Summarily, it's a fairly simple Sith sword with only one truly defining feature.

Couple of minor issues, then you should be good to go.

Okay, so this is insanely heavy for a sword, even an alchemized one. You could cut that in half and still be okay.

Add in the usual alchemized weakness to Force light and ysalamir/voidstone and that should balance this out nicely.
