J9a Remote Command System: Like many modern Corellian Engineering products, the YVX-666 comes standard with the J9a Remote Command System. This allows the ship to be remotely controlled or can be used to automate landing sequences in major starports or stations.

Strengths:
Module Freighter: Like many CEC products, the YVX-666 is capable of taking a large assortment of aftermarket modifications. This means the exact job or mission profiles the ship can fit are virtually endless.

On a Credit Chit: The YVX-666 is a maneuverable freighter for its size, able to make impressive course corrections with surprising agility.

Weaknesses:
Still Just a Man: The freighter, for its impressive adaptability, is still just a civilian craft. Without substantial credit and material investment, it's not gonna be winning any military awards for combat prowess.

Pied Piper: Since the craft does come with the J9 RCS, it is possible that someone with sufficient technological understanding and the right frequencies can take command of the craft unless the subsystem is removed.

Description: Looking to come back into the market, Corellian Engineering had once again undertaken the development of new product lines and reimages of older ones. One of those products is the YVX-666. Based off the ancient YV-666 freighter, the modern freighter retains its predecessor's affinity for surprising maneuverability while incorporating modern amenities and design philosophies.

Straddling the bridge are two sloped claws, a design aesthetic common to the YT-series, which house the ship's quarters, mess hall, and other common areas. Behind these and the bridge is the main cargo hold. On either side of the main hold are secondary holds that can be used for additional cargo storage, additional passenger suites, or fuel pods. And of course, at the aft section of the ship lies the engine and hyperdrive.

As usual, the YVX-666 is a modular design that not only accepts but virtually demands aftermarket modifications to really come out into its own. There are kits made by CEC that use the secondary pylons to mount additional engines or sophisticated equipment. This does all come at a price as the freighter is slightly more expensive than the cheaper YT-series. Many would argue that the price increase is worth it.
