The adoptive son of Shai and Xyoz Maji. Yuri was born on Coruscant to a failing mother, who ended up being kidnapped and forced into an underground slavery operation deep in the lower levels of the Alliance’s capital. Desperate enough to sell her own son, she met her demise at the hands of Xyos after he and Shai liberated the slaves.
In a hurricane of emotions, the two decided to adopt the young pup and raise him as their own, turning a dream of Shai’s into reality. A child of her own.
Being raised by a Mandalorian warrior for a mother and a Crime Lord for a father, Yuri’s upbringing was nothing short of interesting and wild. Both parents had separate duties which caused Yuri to travel around a lot to see them both whenever they were apart. With different rules, Yuri quickly turned into a problematic kid capable of giving both parents all of their days. Despite this, he was still brought up with more than the necessary teachings for a child. On his father’s side, he sneakily took part in the crime lord’s underground operations, while undergoing the same Mandalorian training his mother went through when with her. Eventually he even passed his Verd’goten, making him a fully fledged Mandalorian.
Though the prodigal son had other ideas. As any young man would, Yuri set off to explore the galaxy on his own, looking to find his own calling as the galaxy, once again, cried for war.
