Big tall and green with square pupils. Yularen isn't remarkable for his species, outside of the white marks on his forehead.
BIOGRAPHY:
Yularen was born to a relatively wealthy military family on Corellia. The family had ties to the Star Alignment and so much of upbringing was around the various leading families of the political party. When he was of age he joined the military academy with dreams of becoming a pilot. High aptitude scores for leadership however steered his life towards captainship. In the early years, he hated it. The early classes, no time in the simulators or real fighters etc. It was torture not being among the stars, hidden behind the thick bulkheads of frigates and light cruisers. It wouldn't be until his time in the Republic Navy that he fell in love with the command deck.
After an unremarkable service to the Republic and its subsequent fall to the One Sith he returned to his home world of Corellia and became a Captain in CorSec. He would serve crushing pirates and smuggling rings until the One Sith took their freedom. While Danger and her husband had brokered peace for the world, the One Sith on planet often disregarded those orders and stripped him of his command. His service within the Corellian rebellion forces against both the One Sith and during the Brokellia crisis would elevate him to the rank of Rear Admiral by the time the Sith Empire shattered the Galactic Alliance.
After losing several capable Admirals and other leadership Yularen was promoted to Admiral and after they expelled the Sith again alongside the New Republic he was given command of a heavily modified Colony-Class battlecruiser along with the responsibility of directing the new wave of Corellian warships to serve in the new Corellian Defense Force, a more aggressive and powerful space force than what CorSec provided in decades past.
After his Sister-In-Law stepped down to serve the Galactic Alliance as Vice-Chancellor, Yularen Nova retired from the CDF and was elected as the new Diktat of Corellia. His tenure has been tumultuous with many good things coming to the Confederation and just as many embarrassments and challenges. Since the attack on Coruscant he has seen a massive decline in popularity due to his early defense of now-outed Dark Jedi or Sith Criminal
